Pretty easy to get going, you get on their website, create a user profile and register your kit (there's a serial number on each kit). Then they email you a UPS shipping label and you're ready to take the sample. The most difficult part of taking the sample was it states that your pet cannot eat or drink within one hour, and well, my cat doesn't like to take direction. It took a couple of attempts but I finally achieved the one hour buffer. Then swab, bag, seal, and ship. The website seems nice ... I can't wait to see the results.

I was NOT able to use this. I tried to swab my cat's mouth, all it did was make her mad and caused her mouth to bleed.

Ho deciso di provare questo test del DNA per scoprire qualcosa in più su uno dei miei gatti, perchè mi piacerebbe conoscere qualcosa in più sulla sua razza e su determinate caratteristiche caratteriali.Devo dire che l’esperienza è stata sorprendentemente facile e interessante. Il kit arriva con istruzioni chiare e bastano pochi minuti per raccogliere la saliva del micio con il tampone incluso. Dopo averlo spedito, non ho dovuto fare altro che aspettare le email di aggiornamento: avendolo appena fatto, dovrò attendere in tutto 4-6 settimane.Quello che mi ha incuriosito è che non si tratta solo di un test per capire la razza. Infatti, analizza anche tratti fisici e informazioni sui parenti, con tanto di albero genealogico.Sarà divertente vedere da quali razze discendono i suoi antenati e scoprire dettagli sul suo aspetto. Inoltre, la piattaforma online è davvero intuitiva e ben fatta: leggere i risultati ritengo che sarà semplice.E' indicato che tutti gli aggiornamenti del test sono gratuiti. Quando vengono aggiunte nuove funzionalità o scoperte, vengono integrate automaticamente senza costi extra.Non vedo l'ora di ricevere i risultati perchè se fosse veramente come la descrizione, sarà sicuramente molto interessante.Aggiornerò la recensione appena possibile.Per ora 5 stelle per la fiducia

It's hard to review an item that takes a while before you see the final result but I'm making an attempt now for the contents and the instructions you get from the product listing itself and what came out of the envelop.You do indeed get the swabs in a very sanitised packaging and instructions on how to proceed. I will update this review based upon the speed of processing, of the results and other post-purchase add ons claimed. So far so good so let's start with a 5-star rating.
Mon chat a un meilleur pedigree que prévu
J’ai toujours su que mon chat était spécial… mais grâce à ce test, j’ai découvert qu’il est à 12 % Maine Coon, 8 % British Shorthair, 5 % diva, et 100 % drama queen. Le kit est super simple à utiliser (même si monsieur n’était pas fan du frottis buccal), les résultats sont arrivés en 4 semaines et c’est hyper complet. J’ai maintenant un arbre généalogique pour mon chat… alors que moi je galère à retrouver mes grands-oncles. Bref, test validé par moi… et presque par mon chat !

Das Ergebnis ist zwar noch offen aber ich bin total begeistert davon wie einfach man durch alles durchgeleitet wird. Den Abstrich bei unserer Katze zu nehmen war zwar nicht so einfach aber leichter kann einem ein DNA Test für seine Katze eigentlich nicht gemacht werden. Stäbchen eingepackt und verschickt :) wir sind schon sehr gespannt.
