The E20 is truly special. This really is an EUC that anyone can hop on and learn in very little time. I currently own a V12 Pro and got the E20 to help share the love of riding with my friends and family. Don't let the specs fool you, the E20 will leave you amazed and itching to ride again and again. There is something gratifying about how easy it is to ride and having the 2 wheels makes it very balanced so you can take things slow. Almost everyone online says, start with something bigger so you can grow into it... I 100% disagree. I think the E20 is enough for most people and will allow someone to pick up the sport and grow into becoming a better rider before ending up in a potentially dangerous situation. Just because you can go 35mph doesn't mean you should. The E20 tops out at 12.5mph which is plenty fast and will teach you to really hone in on your skills. Yes, moving to a single wheel will feel different, but the basic premises is the same. If you are on the fence about the sport or just want something that is a little less dangerous, look no further than the E20; you won't be disappointed.

I've ridden EUC since 2015 and 100% believe they are the future of personal transportation in all sorts of settings. We say all the time, "if you can breathe, and you can walk, you can ride EUC!" Since 2018 we have conducted free EUC training in San Francisco and across California. Simply put, no EUC-type device is as simple to jump on and get comfortable with than the Inmotion E20 and its dual-wheel setup. You don't need to focus on side-to-side balance, as you do on a single-wheel (traditional) EUC. The E20 teaches riders how to accelerate, brake, and control speed on an EUC. We tell new riders that, on EUC, your body is like a joystick, lean it where you want to go. The E20 lets riders learn this confidently, safely and quickly. It opens the door for them to jump on a traditional EUC and be able to focus on the balance aspects, which tend to come quickly once riders proceed past an E20.

Good EUC for beginners. Got to teach my friends and it works well for that and for kids when they visit. Easy to learn on, decent battery, low weight. Built like a tank

I bought this thinking it would be easy to ride, I have been riding my Segway for the e past 9 years and it is solid rides great. This however is not safe. Hard to balance on let alone being able to turn and or stop immediately. Also this is incredibly slow. Even on the sport mode a person walks faster than this moves. Took me all of 5 minutes to see that this was not a good purchase. Immediately returned it. Oh it also very heavy. I don’t see younger children being able to move it around easily.

My family purchased our first Electric Unicycle (EUC), the InMotion E20, after trying some out at an Expo Event. My kids and I were able to balance and ride after about 5 minutes. After getting comfortable with wide turns, we progressed to taking tighter turns and figure-8 after an equivalent of about an hour worth of riding. The E20 is a perfect beginner EU, and I feel we will get a lot of use for in years come. I recommend getting the silicone Protective Cover to minimize the inevitable scratches during the learning curve. The 450 Watt and 40 N-m motor is safe for my family’s needs and is powerful enough to get my 6ft, 210lbs body up my 20 degree driveway (after a small rolling start). I personally like the Form and Function of a Unicycle as I can put it in a trunk for an alternate mode of transportation around town, while not having to worry about setting up a bike rack/hitch or sacrificing too much trunk space. I myself, may potentially upgrade to a V8S, as it maintains a transportable form-factor and is more of my size. The only improvement is probably the InMotion App due to loosing all dashboard functionality when trying to customize to different readouts/metrics. This was resolved with an uninstall and reinstall of the App. Tip: The one thing you need the App for, is to get rid of the low speed warning beeps by changing settings to the Sport Mode--it will now only beep above 12mph.

I currently have a Segway nine bot in which I love but this is quite a lot different. It’s kind of like ice-skating instead of rollerskating a bit more tricky to control and is definitely doable.

This is a fun little unit to learn with. I already ride an EUC (not too well) but wanted something to get my wife and daughter to learn with and this fits the bill at a low cost. Only problem is it now just sits here not really being used. It's well built and the two wheels makes it easy to learn the forward and backward controls without worrying too much about falling over to the sided. I feel like it would be cool if there was some way they can used the center channel to hold a single wheel once you've learned in order to make this unit more useful after learning.

Unicycles, especially electric unicycles, always seemed intimidating until my kids and I tried them at a local EV show. We soon got one to use at home and have been having a blast!The E20 is great and fun beginner unicycle for both kids and adults. We have been having a lot of fun riding around the neighborhood and following the kids along side their bikes.Absolutely recommend!
