My daughter used her fund to purchase this set, and they are great for little girls. They will fall apart if handled too much but for the price I expected that. Very Pretty and it made them feel like big girls.

The number and shape of brushes can be pretty daunting, so it's great to be able to get one's hands on a brush set that covers all the bases without being super expensive. There are a few brush hairs here and there sticking out on some of the brushes in the kit, but otherwise it is an absolutely serivceable set of brushes at a great price.

I am so happy with these makeup brushes. For little ones, you don't "need" nice brushes, but these are so soft. And they are just adorable. My niece loves mermaids and loves "doing her makeup". A total win. For the price, you really can't beat it

I love these mermaid brushes. They are meant for girls' makeup, and as such, the brush quality is a tiny bit lower than what you would see for adult makeup brushes.The price is great and they look so cool!5 Stars
5.0 out of 5 stars The “Tails” My Brushes Tell…
My brushes have tails. They are really bright and flashy. I think these would be best suited for a tween or elementary school kid.A smaller round brush with a flat end did a good job dotting my concealer on. The biggest brushes didn’t do too well with my foundation, shading powder, and finishing powder. They’re rather sparse and tend to bend when I put them on my face so that the sides instead of the ends are touching my face. To get it to blend, I’d have to push it harder and it’d bend. It felt like it took a lot more work to get my makeup on with these. I did like that they were so many angled brush sizes for me to choose to do my eyebrows with. That went well. They are soft, though, but not the softest.They do clean up well, though. I washed all the ones I used and the foundation and eyebrow cream came all the way off (I rub them on bar soap and then my hand). That made me happy :) I dried them with a towel and a lot of twisting, which left them lightly damp.They aren’t made that well. The bristles have tufts of different sizes to them. The ferrules have been obviously glued on. Obviously? Yes, because there’s glue strings like spider webs on them. The fan brush is not really fully fanned out. It’s awkwardly unsymmetrical (see closeup). The flat part of the brush doesn’t always line up with the flat part of the tail, so it looks a bit awkward.So well, they’re okay and functional brushes, but they aren’t the easiest to put makeup on with. They are all kinds of cute, though.
