5.0 out of 5 stars Great product —replacing Clinique

I was hesitant to purchase after only 5 reviews… I’m sooo glad I did. I read a review about another product targeting zinc, I’ve been looking for a product containing caffeine, zinc, and to replace one of my serums. Each person has to find what their skin needs, and after 25 years of Clinique, they keep changing their lines, got frustrated w insane prices. Hands down, on this product. It’s soothing, doesn’t sting, great under makeup as it’s matte & no weird clumping w long hours oil free makeup use. It works well maximum x2 serum underneath. I chose EVA retinol serum & EVA VIT C+ serum. Terrific combination for oily skin and few healing spots. TRY IT!
5.0 out of 5 stars Finally a solution for my oily skin
Saw this on the train . Gave it a try, and BINGO!!!
2.0 out of 5 stars combination / oily skin, don't get your hopes up
I had high hopes for this moisturizer. unfortunately, it's had no effect on reducing my combination / oily skin's perpetual sheen. the slightly watery gel-like formula is transparent upon application, and naturally doesn't feel as heavy as a cream might. however, I can't say that it felt like it absorbed into my skin; it was also difficult to tell if it had dried, as the finish is fairly shiny. as a result, I had a hard time judging when it was safe to apply makeup; my primer, which usually melts into my skin, because unmanageable, and powder settled in clumps and creases across my face. eventually, I had to start over entirely, because my streaky complexion couldn't be salvaged. on the plus side: you get a good amount of product for the price, and the packaging itself is appealing. you'll also find plenty of botanicals listed in the ingredients; if you want to get back to nature with your skincare routine, you'll find something to appreciate. overall, though, those surface-level draws don't compensate for its disappointments: skin that appears noticeably shinier and tacky won't be consoled by a cute container. 2 stars is my attempt at being generous.
3.0 out of 5 stars Meh
For some reason the older I get the oilier my face gets. I am 41 and it's like I'm 143 again. The reviews for this oil controlling moisturizer were so good that I decided to give it a shot. It really isn't doing the job. My face still gets rather oily within 2-3 hours after applying. Maybe it's just me but I can't understand why it got the good reviews it does. I guess I will continue my search for a moisturizer that will help me actually control the oil on my face.
4.0 out of 5 stars Loved it but...
It doesn't have a fragrance and feels really nice to put on. There's no tackiness and it has the matte finish (and texture) I was looking for. My skin was soft but not too soft. The moisture is sort of mid-tier for me but it does the job at making my skin not a sahara desert! I'm personally not into the dewy look everyone's trying to achieve. It's lightweight and to be honest, I WISH it worked for my skin type. Sadly, it broke me out after a few uses. This moisterizer is good value for money and it's effective at what it advertises. My oiliness was reduced a smidge but to be honest a lot of the oilness on my face comes from my diet.lIt was almost perfect. I really think you should give this a try if you're looking for a matte moisterizer.
5.0 out of 5 stars No shine!
This product goes on smooth & dries quickly. I did not get a shiny oily face through the end of the day. This product works!
1.0 out of 5 stars He had great reviews
Wanted to try. I was very excited when I received the package after open it and realize it was open and use. It was very disgusting because it seems like somebody having been using it. And I don’t wanna put something on my face. Somebody already used.
5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome product!
I’m in my late 40s and this product is light enough that it doesn’t cause breakouts and it keeps the shiny nose from happening. I use it every morning.
