Very sturdy and and easy to put together. It’s hard to tell in the picture but it is more of a white wash. Has a wood antique look to it. Would highly recommend.

This was easy to assemble. The wood is very light in weight and I'm concerned that the weight of books might cause them to sag. The sides and back are not wood, they are a masonite type material that has a paper covering. This covering does not match the color or wood pattern of the shelves. The weakest point of this bookcase is that it will only take a small diagonal movement without collapsing. It also has a very strong burnt wood odor. However, this dissipate over a few days. It is a nice looking bookcase though.

If you're looking for solid wood product, this isn't it. For the price its a good deal. Bought 2 units. Took 1 hour and 4 minutes to put one unit together. Pretty easy really. Took a bump or 2 to line up just right. Put books on one and family pictures on the other. Fairly happy with the results. Would recommend to a friend

She loves it. Purchased for my niece to help organize her room. Let her pick the style, color, and material, she’s a girl after all. She’s 12 years old and already has her style. Had it shipped to her house and she put it together herself in about 45 minutes, or so she claims. I’m sure dad helped. 😊Sent me pics and pointed out how it matched her existing bedroom furniture.

This is ,without a doubt, the worst online furniture buy ever &, because of it ,I will never buy another. This was a nightmare from the beginning....nothing lined up as it was supposed too, every piece required adjustment on my part to get it to fit together. If it wouldn't be such a huge hassle (now that I have it assembled) I would definitely return it. On top of the problematic assembly it's appearance isn't near as good as pictured. Do yourself a favor & steer clear of this one.
