I was shopping for one of these at a fly fishing store but decided not to buy it there since it was printed with fishing imagery and I am not really a fisherman. This shirt feels just as good as the ones they had in the store but this was about $70 cheaper for one shirt. This shirt is very lightweight, but and even thinner material might be nice for the extremely hot days. The hood fit me very well. As of now this is my new favorite shirt and I am going to buy more. Hopefully it holds up with time. Like most polyester shirts it does start to collect a BO smell after half a day, so maybe the more expensive shirts prevent that, but I'm not sure

I wear one of these whenever I am out in the sun for an extended time. I wear them camping, fishing, kayaking, backpacking, mountain biking, at the pool, etc. They are fairly lightweight. They dry quickly and wash easy. People ask me if it's hot wearing a long sleeve in the middle of summer in Utah, but I think it's cooler than having the sun beat down on you to fry your skin. The orange color was a bit more vivid and bright than I expected. My wife told me I was ready for hunting... I don't think it's quite blaze orange.

I really, really like this shirt. It is my first experience wearing a long-sleeve shirt in the summer, but it's not nearly as warm as I feared and I like the sun protection. Wore it for four hours kayaking in 90F temperatures but had no problem. The shirt I ordered came with a nice mesh/holey material on the underside of the arms which I really like for airflow, but interestingly it doesn't show in the pictures. I'd really like to order a 2nd, but not sure I'd get the same thing.

This hooded shirt does what it says. I wore it today and walked in the direct sun for a 10 hour shift and it kept the sun off of me, and did not make me sweat to death. The fabric feels cool, it breathes well, perfect for hot weather. HOWEVER the sizing does not make sense at all. Bolo says that a large would fit me best based on millions of reviews, but i bought a medium and the sleeves are almost too tight but are too long, the main body of the shirt fits loose, about 1 size too big, but then the hood is so large it fits loosely over a hard hat. When i tried to wear this with just a normal baseball hat, every little gust of wind would blow the hood off my head, and it has no drawstring to cinch up. To sum it up, the shirt fits sloppy, but the sleeves are very tight and also very long, and the hood is absolutely enormous. I am not a large guy. I am 5'6" and 170 lbs, with a 32 inch waist. I have fairly strong arms but i'm not a bodybuilder by any means. This shirt sizing is just insane.Stretchiness:It is not as stretchy as spandex but it is very stretchy.

I got 3 different colors and I like this color the best (darker blue heather)- it doesn't show dirt on the sleeves like the lighter colored one did. I wipe the sweat from my face with the sleeve and my gloves, and they get dirty. I got them for doing yard work, not for fishing. Trying to hide from the sun. The sleeves are loose and I like the thumb hole - it keeps the sleeve in place with my gardening gloves on. They are no hotter than a regular t shirt. They seem well made.

These are perfect for long days in the sun. The sizing is accurate, and they’re comfortable, breathable, and help me stay relatively cool. I liked the color options so much that I bought several. The thumb strap works well during activity and does a great job keeping the tops of your hands covered—especially when fishing. When on sale, these are an easy win.

A little warmer than I hoped, just needed for UV protection, I sunburn in the shade. but good material, jammed arm on first day on broken branch, had blood on it. even though thin and light material, did not damage material, and a hour later able to rinse in cold water and blood came right out.

Bought to wear to an outdoor festival. I also fish so it'll end up being used for that too. It kept the sun off of me and I feel like it kept me cooler than if I would've worn a regular t-shirt instead. I paired it with a wet cooling towel around my neck during the hottest part of the day and I know that combo kept me much cooler. I sunburn easily, but wearing this shirt I didn't burn at all.
