I really feel excited to read on the Kobo Libra colour. I had a Kindle for years and I just never felt excited to read on it? I always prefer preferred physical books.The ability to connect to your library card to overdrive and get library books on this is an amazing feature, and overall, I’m really loving the experience of reading on the Kobo.The size of the screen is great, and there are many options to change the screen brightness as well as the color tone of the screen. The color feature might seem like it might not matter, but it’s so nice to be able to see your book covers in color.All in all, highly recommend!

I adore my Kobo Libra Colour! I read on it all the time—it’s honestly become my favorite way to read. The page turn buttons are a total game-changer (so comfy!), and the color screen adds such a nice touch without being overwhelming. It’s super easy to navigate, and I love that it’s ad-free—no distractions, just reading. The lock screen shows the cover of your current read and your reading progress, which is such a nice detail. If you’re looking for a thoughtful, reader-first device, this one’s a win!

I absolutely love this eReader. I love the page turn buttons. I have been using a tablet to read and the Kobo is so lightweight and I can fit it in my purse. Such a big difference between the two. I would absolutely recommend this 100%.

I’m on my second one. I’m a klutz and drop lots of things (including my first one of these). Saw this was repairable so I skipped the extra insurance. However, it’s pretty much impossible to get the parts to fix it! So needless to say I spent the $30 on the extra insurance the second time around.

!!Be aware!!$50 restocking fee when returnedBased on research, I decided to get the Kobo for my wife, as opposed to the Kindle. Big mistake.The kobo store is severely limited in books offered, also, many of the books that my wife wanted to read were waitlisted at the library’s (i.e Libby app), therefore it was essentially a paperweight.

Had to approve multiple purchase extensions before I finally had enough, and wouldn’t approve the third extension. I figured if they simply didn’t fulfill it, it would auto cancel, and I would never worry about it again. And when I contacted them about the order delays and the lack of fulfillment, they attempted to kick the ball to Bolo, which I knew better was in their court:But product seems great ; too bad this terrible first impression soured things so badly.

Excellent eBook reader, if a bit on the expensive side.

Decided to get this after looking up many reviews on YouTube and various review sites. I previously used to have a regular non backlit kindle (probably a 2nd gen). Got this at a slightly lower than MRP price (~18.6k after bank discounts) but worked out as much as it would if you were buying it from abroad (USD $220 MRP). Here is my unstructured review.Colour display - something new, and comics look nice, although not very easy to read on the smaller screen unless you zoom. The colors are not what you'd expect from an led display like a phone, so keep your expectations in check, the tech for that isn't there yet. However, this was not a big deal for me.Physical buttons - now this was important to me. I like touch screen displays generally, but it just isn't as nice when reading a book. The two buttons make turning pages very simple for the hand. The thumb just rests in a button, and press for the page turn. You can still use touch/swipe on screen, but I don't find myself using that as much.Software setup and UI - Very simple to get it started, and some level of customization for the library, although would have liked to have more freedom with organizing/hiding/folders etc. Epubs work without any conversion. I was able to link my google drive account and transfer books via my phone this way. The settings aren't too complicated to find your way around.Other good things about this that I won't get into - good form factor, waterproof, charges quickly, decent battery life (~20h with backlight 40% and reading book, not tested for comic), power button placement, USB C connectivity. Nice to have, but I've not used these fratures - repairable, can use a stylus (some 3rd party ones too), audio books. Also picked up the official cover, fits well, easy to hold, feels good to touch (faux leather).Only thing I wished for is that this was available at a lower price. But I couldn't wait for a price drop, as I had a huge backlog, and I was wasting precious time in travel not really doing anything productive. The cover wasn't cheap either, but no other 3rd party options available as yet, and I can't let an expensive device like this get scratches in my bag.

Finally an almost perfect ebook reader!

I never tried ebooks because I love writing notes on a physical book. I decided to give it a try when I saw this product on YouTube. Though the writing experience is not comparable to real pen and paper it is good enough as a tool to add notes. Apart from note taking, I also find this product very well designed. They put a lot of thought into user experience. I love the small details such as the screen showing the book cover when in sleep and the extra wide edge on one side being just big enough for me to rest my thumb on. I especially love the fact that I can access my local library directly on the device. I will recommend this product to every book lover!

Très bonne liseuse. La batterie tient longtemps. Le réglage de la luminosité et lumière jaune est un plus. Et la couleur change tout !
