I thought I was taking a gamble choosing inexpensive tools, but I'm thrilled with what I received. These are excellent: sturdy but relatively lightweight, comfortable smooth handles, teeth have good bite and worked like a charm to crank down a stubbornly leaky pipe connection to my irrigation valve. The 14" wrench alone is worth what I paid, and I get an 8" one with it too? I'm quite happy with this purchase.By the way, to all the people complaining about the hollow roll pin: This is a non-issue. The pin is only there to prevent the jaw from falling out while the tool is loose. While you're actually turning the wrench, the force of the pipe pressing on the jaw would hold it in place even without the roll pin.

I purchased this set to remove the inner tie rod from the truck instead of a specially tool for the job. This set will offer good use for different applications. The large one worked great getting the inner tie rod removed, it's heavy duty, strong... It's definitely a bubba wrench.

They are very lightweight, however, they do not perform as well as some of my pipe wrenches. I've noticed if the jaws aren't fully applied, like on a union, they intend to roll. My steel craftsman does not do this. I'm unsure why, probably product tolerances? Idk, but when faced with this, it is very agrevating. But on pipes, they do well.
