I previously assembled a scooter, which had incomprehensible instructions, and I thought that was the worst. Well, at least I could try to understand it. This one has NO instructions at all. It just says, put on the front wheel! Luckily, they do show a video of assembling the bike, which is helpful. Unluckily, my bike ended will squeaky front wheel, and after long hours of trying to adjust the brake and looking at youtube videos, I took it to the bike shop REI and they fixed it beautifully for a small charge. They said both the front brake (which I worked with) and the back brake (which came already installed) were rubbing and needed adjustment. The seller even reimbursed the repair cost even though I didn't ask for it, which is very nice of them, and is why I give it 5 stars despite the brake problem. But it would be even better if they had detailed instructions and videos on how to adjust the brake to remove the squeaking. They don't even need to make their own repair videos; just look for the ones online that's relevant to this bike, and then send the customers the links and time interval to watch, so I don't have look for repair videos myself.Now that my bike is running good, I enjoy it very much! It's my first ebike and I really love the feeling of getting a boost when I can't pedal fast enough, so I can go as fast as I want while pedaling as much or as little as I want! And the first time I rode through the mall, a young beautiful girl called out at me, "Cute bike!" (My first bike compliment!) It's so small that it makes me feel very safe to ride it. Big bikes scare me - I feel like I might fall off or hit someone. This bike is so small and I feel completely in control. It's still very heavy at 50 some pounds, but so small that I feel confident lifting half of it. Despite the small wheels, It feels smooth riding. The price is so amazing that it's worth buying the 2 year protection plan. I mean, my local bike shop REI charges more for one ebike tune up than the entire price of this bike! So if it lasts 2 years, I'm already way ahead!One more idea that I didn't realize until I got the bike: this bike is great for Uber. With my other bike, I can't put it in a car, but this thing is small to start with, and then it even folds easily, so it pack in a car or Uber's trunk if necessary.I should point out that this bike's warranty is only for 100km, or 60 miles. Being that I ride 4 miles a day, that's just 2 weeks. For the price, I'm not complaining, but that's why I think it's good to buy the protection plan if they are offering it.

well what can i say. the bike amazing, customer support slightly slow, but they have been the nicest and most generous customer support ive dealt with in my life. even giving me a free bike due to a shipping error. so i ended up buying 2 bikes from them for a total of 3 now.this was my first bike in my entire life, i wasnt sure how id feel about the 16 inch tires. it ends up being pretty greatonly critique is the seat could be comfier, but im hoping an upgrade to that will make me like it morethe only real problem i have here is the assembly tutorials need a big upgrade. i made the mistake of tightening the sterring column on backwards which in turn pulled on the break lines and messed up the nice brake adjustment that mostly came factory. as a result after i switched the sterring column back to the correct direction my left/front brake handle is not not tight enough and if i try and make it tighter with the little brake line screw on the handlebars then the break pad scrapes the rotar.. pretty frustrating, i know its my fault. but then again the assembly videos literally need like 1 min more of warnings and clarification, so really pisses me off that they dont upgrade their tutorials or make a better manual at the very least. im not the only person who has made this mistake a lady in the Bolo review videos did as well. i was also not warned that turning the sterring column the wrong way (which is very easy to do) will effect the brakes so much.so all in all i will probably have to get this professionally fixed, hopefully they can fix it easily. other than that everything has been absolutely amazing and easier than expected.. i put the front tire on myself and even had the brakes correct before i messed with the steering column. pretty nice for a guy who is not very handy.9.3/10 bike 2/10 assembly tutorials.

This is a great little ebike! Just took it on its maiden voyage and had a blast. Got up to 20mph a few times but most of the time 19mph was the top speed, but that's neither here nor there. 19mph is still plenty fast for a bike this size. I got a total of 11 miles on a single charge using only the throttle with one battery bar remaining at the end of the ride which was about what I expected.However, not gonna lie, assembly was a major pain in the a$$ (but this was my first time putting on a bike wheel and I didn't read the instructions, so that's on me). I was very impressed with the shipping. The box was in stellar condition and everything was well packaged and protected. Best of all, it arrived a day early! I should also mention that this is one of the few ebikes on Bolo that had free shipping. Most other brands I looked at charge $100+ for shipping.My only complaint is that the little thing that rings the bell broke off the first time I tried to use it so I'm gonna have to buy a new bell. Not a huge deal, but I just wish it didn't break on the first ride.Overall I am super happy with this bike. It's totally worth the money for an ebike of this quality. If you're in the market for a compact ebike, this is definitely the one to get.Once you're done with assembly, it's nothing but fun and smiles.
