I always keep 1 on hand as a spare. Installation is a breeze just follow the arrow. Make sure you use Teflon and pipe dope for the fittings. The fit 1/2" pipe thread and are used to regulate gas pressure for the appliances it serves. Functions as it should, value is good and fitment is good as long as you install correctly. Follow instructions please.

My flame was wanning on the bbq grille. This new regulator solved the problem. The regulator is well pressed, and the pipe threads were clean and cut for a standard NPT. Overall, a good replacement for your average propane grill.

This totally helped fix my bbq issues. I was having problems with propane not coming out to light the grill. I changed out the regulator and instant success. It was easy to do and had no problems with the fit. I would recommend this part, if you are having the same issues.

I just replaced the burners on my natural gas bbq, and was wondering why the fire was still not coming out. It turned out that I had a bad pressure regulator. Replacing it with this solved my issue! This has a specific outputs of 5'' WC for natural gas and gives control over gas pressure.

Not for high pressure!
This regulator is only used when the normal inlet pressure after the first regulator is still to high for your appliance. For example, flames are too big or the appliance control cannot reduce flames low enough.The adjustment preset under the silver cap was helpful in fine tuning for the smoothest range of flame.control. This regulator nicely reduced from 0.5 psi to 0.35 psi for my appliance.Issue I found was the aluminum body and threads did not play well with the 1/2 NPT aluminium Male connector on my appliance. Maybe a rookie mistake.durimg a test fit, the threads spun on easily until snug - then I could not remove it due to gall-welding of the aluminum.to aluminum! I was told later by a pronto use candle wax when threading aluminum to aluminum.
