5.0 out of 5 stars Solid Construction and fast charging speed but beware USB-PD
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } I bought this as a replacement for a multi-port charger that failed in a Sendowtek multi Apple device bamboo charging stand. The Anker construction is solid and the charging fast. The heat generated is minimal. It is small enough to fit in the bamboo base of my old charging stand. There are three USB-A ports:USB-A1 & A2 are rated as 5V⎓2.4A...standard iPhone and iPad USB voltage.USB-A3 however can produce 5V⎓3A or 9V⎓2A or 12V⎓1.5A. My understanding is A3 is using the USB Power Delivery Protocol (USB-PD) where the charger negotiates with the device for the voltage desired. If the device doesn't support USB-PD, the charger is supposed to default to 5V to keep older devices happy. The three USB-C ports also support USB-PD: USB-C1: 5V⎓3A / 9V⎓3A / 15V⎓2A / 20V⎓1.5A and USB-C2 & C3: 5V⎓3A / 9V⎓2.22A / 12V⎓1.67A.USB-PD can be a problem or a valuable feature. My newer iPhone is OK with the different voltages on A3 but my older iPad mini 5th gen (MUQW2LL/A) produces a "Not Charging" when plugged into that port.I was initially unaware of the USB-PD feature on A3 when I reached out to Anker tech support. They responded quickly and diagnosed that this was an incompatibility between that port and my iPad and not a charger fault or bad cable or bad iPad. While the Anker USB-PD port should adapt and not cause a compatibility issue with the iPad, the iPad is not happy and can not be charged there.Given that the iPad is an older model and never made any claims about tolerating USB-PD, I can't really fault Anker. However it is still possible that my Anker USB-A3 is malfunctioning and not reverting to the 5V default as it should. For now I'm happy with the charger and Anker's response and will simply use A3 for my iPhone and plug my iPad into A1 or A2. If A3 causes more problems, I'll rely on Anker's excellent tech support.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good charger
Update:Anker contacted me and replaced the charger. I tested and it is good.I changed to 5 stars due to:1. The customer service is best. Anker contacted me first; I even did not think of contacting them. They stand behind their products. Just a few email back and forth, they sent a replacement.2. The replacement is good.==============I bought an Anker 60W 6-port (USB A) charger before and it charges my phones very good. I bought this charger to have USB C to C (3 USB C ports). I have been only using the USB C to C cables to charge my until yesterday (3/2/2025). Yesterday, I used USB A to C cable to charge my phone and found out that it is 2 times slower than the 60W 6-port charger. I tested with different ports, different cables, different phones and the result is the same. The 60W charger needs 20 minutes left to be full, and this charger 112W needs 44 minutes.I used a USB A to C cable connecting USB C to the phone, connect USB A to 112 W charger, the phone displayed 44 minutes to full. I disconnected the cable to 112W charger, connected to the old 60W charger, phone displayed 20 minutes to full. Happens on all USB-A ports. No other port was used when testing.I trusted Anker so I threw the box away after using it for a while. Now, the return window is 3/8 and I cannot return anymore.Do not buy. The C ports are OK, but all A ports are not good.By the way, I got a used item the first time, returned it for a replace. This replacement shows that why the first one I got was a returned item.
5.0 out of 5 stars One port did not work
**UPDATE** Anker reached out to me very quickly and offered to send me a new unit. The new one works perfectly. Anker is still my go to for cords and charging equipment. They may be a bit more pricey, but the quality and customer service is worth it.Anker is usually a solid brand, but this time they are only getting three stars because one USB port does not work. I managed to destroy the box opening it, and the remaining 5 ports work fine, so I won’t bother returning it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Reliable and Powerful Chargers
I have to travel for a living. In today's world of phones, laptops, watches, and tablets, you have an entire office to charge every night. I have to rely on my chargers to work every time. I have been replacing everything with Anker because they work really well.
4.0 out of 5 stars Discrete and fast
I have high hopes for this charging station. I love how small it is. It is discrete. I like to charge my phone in the living room-not the bedroom. This is perfect and it is fast.
5.0 out of 5 stars Get it.
Works great, no issues. Good clean power in small footprint with decent mix of USB sizes.
5.0 out of 5 stars Love them
I've used Anker products for many many years and love them.
5.0 out of 5 stars Small size, great power
This is a well-made charger, with enough capacity to charge six devices, 3 Type A USB and 3 type C.
Anker is the King as Usual!
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Anker battery charging products are the best of the best, and nothing compares (honestly) as long as you use the correct charging cables. In terms of wattage output for the outlet on this device, in addition to using a certified charging cable, neglecting both ruins your phone battery ASAP or over time, not to mention it also doesn’t work as quickly and certainly as effectively. This goes without saying for most tech junkies such as myself and those who read and follow instructions, lol, but yeah— those gas station or dollar star charging cables despite them being labelled as safe on their packaging are not to be used here. You should certainly purchase the corresponding power (depending on the outlet you intend to use if for this device) directly from Anker, whose charging cables are likely even more safer than Apple’s own charging cables (assuming you’re using an iPhone, MacBook, iPad, etc.) to charge one or all of your devices on this product! Although, Apple’s charging cables are also not only a safe and effective bet as well! It’s great first perfectly on my nightstand and would on a desk as well. I used the more powerful and larger version of this device on my office desk for quicker charging of my devices, but this charges your devices nearly as quickly if we’re being honest. It’s also smaller, which is great for a nightstand or desk, considering you don’t have to reach for the outlet on a wall or surge protector on the wall or floor beneath your nights as traditionally is the case for most users charging their devices at work or while in bed/drifting into sleep for the night. This sits right on top of your nightstand and desk so easily given its size, and it’s super convenient and powerful.I can’t recommend Anker products any more than I have. They are truly the Cadillac of power delivery for electronic devices, and this product isn’t an exception to that analogy :) love Anker!
Works great
Really great gadget, plenty of outlets. It's been going strong for years as my main charging station. I also take it on vacation with me to places where I need an adapter to plug it in to charge all my electronics.I do wish there was one regular outlet too so I could plug my laptop into it as well and use only 1 adapter on vacation.
Works better than expected
I am very pleased with this charging port. It is even faster than the one I had that said lightning fast.
Well built charger
Great uSb charger. Lots of power and very well built.
Single USB-C port less than 30W and single USB-A port <18W plus 4 useless ports with limited power
I could not get 30W using a single USB-C1 port to charge my Google Pixel 8 Pro with a 100W Anker cable.Always remember that the only RIGHT unlabeled USB-A port is the most powerful. The most potent USB-C port is the LEFT one labelled as 30W.All that is advertised as a 112W charging station. It may be helpful for someone with devices that match each port's power profile, to label each port for a specific device. It is better to use the charger with universal ports, so you do not need to think about what needs to be plugged into each port.I can charge more using a competitor 100W charger with only three ports, but all can be used at full power. It is better to have three real charging ports than a large device with four useless ports. To get a 100W Anker Charger, check the one with 200W in the description.
