Regular scissors are sometimes hard. This tool is very easy to use very durable and you can cut out your image without lifting the blade. It is easy to use. My granddaughter will help me with crafts and loves to use this tool

After seeing the ease with which someone used a tool like this to cut paper, I thought it would be great for cutting out complex patterns.This cutter is supposed to be easy to use - just hold it like a pen and it will swivel and cut. Except that it doesn't. The action of the swiveling is clunky and the blade is not sharp enough to cut fully. I ended up with torn bits of paper and had the tool skid along the surface rather than cutting.I'm not terrible at making things with my hands. I was using the cutter as instructed. I'm not sure what else to say.It doesn't function as advertised. Save your money.

The arthritis is not anyonems responsibikity, but I do have to press pretty hard with my fingers. Regardless, this is a cool device and functions exactly as it looks
