PROS:+ Lightweight and easy to wear under makeup or sunscreen during the day, or moisturizer at night.+ Blends well with makeup primer and helps extend makeup wear; I feel less oily throughout the day and see also a plumping, filling effect mostly around where my eye skin is crepe-y.+ Didn't cause breakouts or clog my pores, even around my T-zone while adding oil-free moisture.+ The serum was light enough to use around the sensitive skin on my neck and decolette area without giving me a rash or clogging my pores like heavier serums do. My chest area was glowing after use and looked smoother!+ I use it before lip balm to help keep my lips looking pump; my lipstick lasts longer and doesn't bleed as much onto my face.Cons:- A bit on the watery side, it may be too drying for those with dry skin to use alone. I pair mine with a moisturizer.- It has an herbaceous smell that I find lovely, but others might find a bit medicinal or cloying.

I'm a little bit of a skincare nerd, and not only did this product work well, but its formula and presentation is really cool to me!If you've noticed skincare labels recently, "hyaluronic acid" has been a buzz ingredient for a while. What the labels usually don't tell you is that there are different derivations of hyaluronic acid that have different sized molecules. In an ideal skincare regimen, you'd start with a product that has smaller molecules in it, and layer products on top that have increasingly larger molecules. But, hyaluronic acid on its own is pretty big. So, very often, the "hyaluronic acid" claimed on a label is actually a derivation of hyaluronic acid that has a smaller molecular size.But what this product does is take multiple different derivations of hyaluronic acid and combine those with hyaluronic acid itself into one serum. Moreover, it clearly explains on its label that this is what it's doing, and even gives a chart with the different ingredients of different molecular weights.I just think that's so cool!Now, bc of the idea that you want to start with smaller molecules and work your way up to bigger ones, I'm not sure exactly how this fits in with that process. But, this product is labeled as "serum," the instructions say to use it before using your moisturizer, *and* it feels more like a serum, so I figure I'll just trust that and use it as a serum.As a serum, it feels great! It has a gel-like consistency that applies smoothly and absorbs quickly. It has a little bit of an astringent scent which dissipates quickly - I think this is probably because witch hazel is the first ingredient. This seems to hydrate my skin at least as well, if not better, than my other hyaluronic acid serum, and I like the ingredients in this serum a lot more. I am looking forward to working this into my skin regime!Overall, a super great serum.

First of all, I apologize for the slightly blurry photo; I was attempting to show what the serum looks like and the camera shook a bit. As for the serum, I was a little surprised at first because it wasn't actually clear, but a bit "cloudy" in appearance. I thought perhaps there was something wrong with it, but then I looked at other photos of it and the company's other serums, and they appear similar. The proper way to use this serum is after utilizing either a Japanese moisturizing "lotion," or a Korean equivalent. For example, you can use a sake-infused type of Japanese lotion (as I do), and spray it on your face first. Then you can use the serum all over your face, following up with a creamier moisturizer and/or cream if you need it. I used this in the evening. When I woke up, my complexion appeared noticeably brighter and balanced. Some people have stated this serum is too watery but I find that it is just right, and serums should not be so oily or thick that they obstruct the skin's pores. This is a very good product overall.
