Exceptional product. I use these on desk-top behind work stations. Great to have more permanent things plugged in on the back side while keeping side facing me open for easy access as-needed. USB ports are easily accessible.So really a great design, maximizing accessibility while remaning mostly hidden, and the solid performance I expect from Anker. Unit does not run warm. No issues.

Got this to sit on our bedroom dresser and the flat plug really makes it a 10/10, but the extra usb and plug in options really seal the deal! Before this I had to leave my dresser sitting off the wall 3-4 inches and I constantly had stuff falling behind it and now I can push the dresser right up against the wall so no more stuff falling behind the dresser! It sits and mounts perfectly onto the dresser top and the size of it is perfect, nice and compact so it doesn’t take up much space at all!

Overall, its is an excellent power strip. I liked the amount of outlets and USB connections offered. Most importantly, the seller is very transparent on the limitations of the power cord in regard to using the USB connections for Galaxies, laptops, etc. They mention several notes to keep in mind when connecting devices and how much output is in each USB outlet. I will definitely recommend for efficiency and very sleek design.

Excellent build quality, compact and light weight (as expected from Anker) making this an ideal extension/power hub for traveling. Unique feature is that the 10 power outlets (6 three-prong AC, 2 USB-A and 2 USB-C) are well placed on a relatively slim/flat package. Additionally, having the two 'bank' of three prong outlets slightly slanted out allows for all 6 outlets to be used even with chunky "power block" adapters -again a clever and useful design. The only drawback if you're a traveler is that while the power cord is flat, the cord does NOT detach so it's not as flexible for packing. Built-in surge protection is nice and handy on/off rocker switch powers down all outlets when desired.

I needed this so bad or at least I thought I did :)I DID ! This is a Great power supply cord . Charges newer IPAD phones both usb and C also love the three prong plugers :) you get your money worth in this it feels heavy duty but light weight wined it up it’s a perfect size to take with you .. one of my favorite purchases :)) I didn’t time the speed of charging but was pretty fast ..

Use this to plug in behind my couch, route underneath to provide floor plugs. The tapered sides are great for that, and couch can push close to the wall without weird lateral pressure from a conventional, non flat plug.

The flat shape of the power strip is convenient for any place needing a power strip. The plug part is flat so it hugs the wall so that I can move a desk up against the wall. The condensed strip allows me to plug all my electronic items in conveniently. I love this power strip so much, I've ordered four more to place around various places in my home and office.

It has just the right amount of outlets and USB ports for an office desk, to cover your computer/laptop + monitors + a set of powered speakers or printer, etc. Brand name recognition, power surge protection, flat plug - it has everything most people would want for a home office setup. Sure you can clamp a basket or rail under your desk for a more permanent setup, but if you're often plugging/unplugging things, this may be your best above-desk option.

ANKER: stop with the eyeball searing lights

They're very nice power strips, great flat plug & flat cord makes them easy to fit behind nearly anything. The USB plugs seem to work fine to charge things like phones & other small electronics, but will not charge your MacBook Pro. I assume that would apply to other laptops as well. I was disappointed to find this out. Their surge protecting blocks with a heavier gauge cord, which I also bought, also won't charge my MacBook Pro.That said, these units will absolutely power 1000 watt space heaters, my very large Brother laser printer etc. It's just the USB ports that are somewhat problematic.But what I really don't like are the eyeball searing lights on these units. Completely unnecessary. These things in any room will keep people awake at night. Yes, you could shut them off every time you go to bed, but that quickly becomes a pain in the arse. In addition, if you require the strips to be functioning all night because you've got something plugged in, you won't be able to shut the strips off at night, leaving that eyeball searing light on. Really horrible. They also harm the eyes simply when plugging something in to them in an already lit room. Considering ANKER's other surge protecting power bars / blocks have much more discreet lights, and they operate just fine, there is absolutely no justification for the blazing lights on this particular model.I am considering returning them because of the lights on these surge protecting power strips. This is more of an issue for me than the USB ports not charging my MacBook Pro. At least I can still charge it using it's charging brick & this power strip.
