I was beyond excited for this vest after seeing it all over tiktok but when it arrived it was less than desirable. The material was thin, matted, and looked like the stuffy your granny buys you from the dollar store after you played with it for nearly a decade 😵💫 If I’m paying nearly $40 for an item, I expect at least decent quality. I’m typically a large and ordered a large but it wasn’t oversized and fit narrow. Definitely would not keep you warm and overall not worth the cost.

This is a great dupe for the (much pricier) Free People vest. The quality is great, and has been a staple through the winter with a long sleeve or sweater underneath. I got the chocolate brown, and it’s a perfect neutral. Fit is oversized and roomy, great for layering. Will buy in other colors!

This boxy vest shouldn’t be as cool as it is, but it’s oddly flattering on my plus size body (open or snapped shut). No one needs to hide themselves, but if you just want something warm and different, this is perfect over a long sleeve top with jeans OR (my favorite) a long sleeve fitted bodycon dress with tall boots. If you’re also someone who is always warm, this is one way to wear a “winter coat” without sweating so dang much.
