My son has extremely dry skin in certain areas. I started off with the ultra-rich butter but stopped because of the fragrance. Actually, that seemed to have worked. I started the all over balm because the description said for eczema. It did not work for my child. It was okay for his twin sister's skin. She doesn't have eczema. I ended up using my body lotion on my son. This seems to be working. I had hoped that this product would have worked because it is geared towards melanated babies. It is costly with two babies, but I decided on the purchase because my son's eczema had been so troublesome.

I was looking forward to a product that actually works to relieve dry skin. Unfortunately this is not it! Very greasy also so I’m not a fan. More wasted money trying to soften my sons severe eczema.

This is a very basic skin balm, with good ingredients. I don’t know why anyone would be hyping this like a miracle product when the ingredients are so straightforward. It works as well as any other combo oil balm. It has a firm ointment texture, or you can break it up and stir it up so it is softer for later use. It’s also great as a carrier for essential oils, if you want to use tea tree or lavender on your baby. I don’t need multiple products at one time, meaning I don’t layer these products. I use the lotion on dry (not wet) skin, the oil on wet skin, and the ointment to spot treat areas like his chin and neck where he drools all day. The lotion smells lovely and is perfect as far as baby lotion, but the oil and the ointment are going to be just as expected. If you’re looking for high quality, clean baby products that are very lightly or unscented, and don’t want to question what’s in these products, and don’t want to pay an arm and a leg, these are perfect for you. They’re marketed for “melanated babies,” but don’t let that stop you from using the products on ANY baby. It’s just good stuff. I’ll continue to buy, if for no other reason, the price can’t be beat.

This baby balm is great! It reminds me of Aquaphor or Vaseline but it’s in a jar and it’s all natural. I’ve been using it on my daughter and she hasn’t experienced any irritation.

The Proudly ultra-nourishing balm looks like vaseline rather than lotion, but it works well for moisturizing. It is a little thick in the jar but you dig up a little and work it into your skin. It does come off a little oily, but once you work it in, it's not so bad. I couldn't really detect that much of a scent to it, which is okay. It kind of smelled like just plain wax to me. I did not experience any skin irritation with this.
