I’ve tried several different brands of microwaveable rice. I originally used what was most likely the best seller for several years. I go tired of the rice being “glumlpy”. The rice in the bottom was always stuck together and an unpleasant color. It didn’t have a pleasant taste. This rice is everything the big name brand wasn’t. I’m sticking with Regal!

Honestly, the worst heat and eat rice I've ever had.So dried out after following heating instructions - not a DROP of moisture. Weird smell and weirder taste which sauce only intensifies. Off color - NOT white rather a beige.I tried 3 packages and threw out the remainder.Value not there.

The rice came individually packed in two-serving bags. It is easy to make and has directions clearly written. The rice smelled and tasted fresh and delicious (good for pairing with a flavorful sauce). It's a medium grain rice and it didn't have any mushiness or hard texture. It was evenly cooked with a consistent slightly chewy but still firm texture. The size of the package is as described and is enough for two portions.

What I say:I am attaching a copy/picture from the product page that warns users that the rice IS manufactured in a facility that has processed milk, nuts, wheat gluten, etc. I wish that I had checked the label before I purchased because we have someone in our home who is allergic to peanuts. Had I known this bit of information, I would not have ordered the product. (Lesson learned. I will check more closely from here on out on all foods I purchase online.)This is not the best tasting Jasmine Rice that I have had, but it is a convenient time saver when you are in a hurry. I only had to pour the rice into a bowl and heat for about 90 seconds. (Tip: To make the rice even softer, wet a small paper towel or napkin and drape it over the rice before placing into your microwave.)BONUS! At the time of this review, there is a 10% brand promotion.
