I started with my budget, which was sub $150. After a ton of research, I realized that there aren’t a ton of good options in this range. I could get a cheap desktop, but everything I read said they are terrible for holding humidity. Getting something that’s solid wood was also out of this range. So I settled on an acrylic and then found this bad boy. I liked that it isn’t see through and has some fun character. So no pun intended, I pulled the trigger.This bad boy came in and I was shocked by the heft. It’s a legit ammo can, which means it’s beefy and seals super tight (water proof and air tight). The Spanish cedar smells amazing. The tray that holds the humidity pack is nice and fits nicely in the cedar. The included hydrometer that lifts above your sticks is a nice touch too!The only downside was I noticed a very small crack on one of the cedar trays. I reached out directly to Case Elegance and they made it right (even responding on New Year’s Day)! Great product and great company.

1st I revised my prior review. The 50 Cal. Humidor that I received prior of which the metal can container was defective with an uneven seam causing air leakage. Jon from CE reached out, and sent me a complete new humidor 50 Cal free of charge, and this is great customer service. This humidor really retains the proper moisture extremely well. The Spanish Cedar inserts are all solid wood, and are my favorite part of the design.Overall, each row tray level will hold 2 rows on each shelf of 5” cigars or one row of cigars longer (6” or longer). An improvement of the design would be to have the metal can & cedar inserts just 2.5” longer to accommodate 2 rows of 6 inch long cigars on each level. If metal can size was increased just 2” longer it would be perfect. Still a great design, and the customer service from CE is excellent.

I expected better quality for this price. The paint is missing underneath on the clasps, etc, as shown. Item is made in China.

I like it too much! very good military humidor! high quality and it is Mens toy! i recommend! You'll keep your cigars safe in the apocalypse! i will buy second one!
