The design is spot-on — it looks just like the axe from the game, which immediately got tmy son excited. Combining Minecraft and Nerf is a brilliant idea, and this toy delivers on both fronts.The dart blasting feature is easy to use. You pull down the handle to prime it, then press the trigger to fire — simple enough for younger kids to handle on their own. It comes with 6 Nerf Elite foam darts, which are soft and safe for indoor play. The darts fire with decent power and accuracy for a toy blaster, especially one that’s shaped like an axe.Build quality is solid for a themed toy. Very Durable and has held up well to some pretty active play, the top part of the Axe is starting to bend in with play. The mix of roleplay (swinging the axe) and dart blasting adds a fun twist and keeps my son engaged longer than a standard blaster might.One thing to note is that it only fires one dart at a time and has no storage for the extras, so be prepared to reload often — or keep a dart pouch handy.Bottom line: If your child loves Minecraft and Nerf, this is a fantastic combo toy. I did not expect this to be anything to write home about but when my son shot it, holy cow! Way more powerful than I expected! It shows a really nice distance. Impossible to aim, lol, but this was a good one. The axe ends are also not hard plastic but a sort of padded bumper which I also didn’t expect, so that also bumped the quality up in my opinion.

This is a fun toy for my son who loves minecraft. This thing shoots super fair and fast. It does hurt a little so I don't recommend for super little kids. Great price and made well. Like how the axe part is foam so doesn't break if you hit the ground or hurt (to bad) if you get hit by it.

Obsessed. All the tips are foam. That is the best part it is really easy to use and since the tips of the points are foam. Doesn’t shoot too hard. So much fun for my 6 year old.

We bought this for a birthday present for a little boy turning 8 who loves Minecraft. We gave it with a little target. He was so excited about it! We didn’t actually use it so I can only speak to the packaging which was good and the gun seemed to be good quality and sturdy as are most Nerf brand objects. The reason for the 4 star is because the tip of the gun was a little bent in when it was delivered and we had to try to bend it back a little because it was in the way of the bullet. I’m worried about durability and longevity of the toy due to that aspect of this gun.

My 5 year old loves it. It is a little hard for him to pull back but he still loves it so I'm giving it 5 stars. It also has softer foam around some of the edges which i like better than hard plastic. It definitely adds something different to the nerf battles.
