It is rated for 12 Volts DC output at 0.4 Amps, and it worked with no problems to charge a Braun S5 shaver. It is very lightweight and a little smaller than the Braun OEM charger, making it a good backup to keep in a travel kit. Also notable is the extra stain relief on the molded plug, which should help to prevent premature wire breakage. Considering the price this is quite a good bargain.

This Braun charger works well for my series 6 electric shaver. My only complaint is that the plug is able to fit in both ways, so there is a risk of it plugging in backwards. I imagine this is because they designed it to fit many different razor versions, and it probably won’t break it to plug it in backwards, but I’m going to be careful not to make that mistake anyways.

My Braun shaver came with a charger stand so when I travel I dont have a way to charge it so I got this charger and takes care of my needs. It charges as quickly as my stand, fits my shaver exactly right and I think it is reasonably priced. Now I won’t be stuck traveling without my shaver.

I recently got the series 9 with the travel case and had to use the provided charger for the cleaning base so I needed one more of these and picked this up. It came packaged just fine with no defects that I could see. I got it plugged in and it charged my case just fine. So far this has worked great as I can leave my cleaner plugged in while charging the case as needed.

I thought this was not the right charger at first since my Braun is a 3 prong charging port, but the 3rd prong is probably ground which is not mandatory. This charged my Braun fine when I lost my original charger.
