    The smell is great not too strong or overwhelming. I love it and a must for me personal clothes. I do not add it to laundry that contains my pets items in it..Definitely recommend

    I have super sensitive skin so I can't use perfumed degergents, softners or these fabric freshners on my clothes. I use Tide Free Hypoallergenic and Downy Free and Gentle with no issues for decades. However for the towels and car and cushion seat covers, decorative throw blankets, pet laundry, I use the Downy Scent beads and they are fabulous. They keep the items smelling awesome and just washed fresh for weeks. You open the linen closet or draw and the scent is wonderful. I'd LOVE to be able to use them on my clothing but I'd look like walked into a beehive with red swollen skin and I'd be itching like a stray with fleas. So I thought I'd try this "light" version from my trusted baking soda brand. The smell is not as intense as the beads, but the allergic reaction is still there. Other family members do like that it smells nice but not as overpowering as the beads so it doesn't clash with their colognes and lotions.
