We will see if it holds up. I can did 2 coats on the inside of the fender wheel well.

I have tried all types of sand paper from 3M brand to dollar tree sand paper. These brand makes a good grit sand paper with the hoop and loop backing. I used the 600 grit to resurface the clear coat of a expensive table and I was able to used with no problems and I got the results that I expected from good quality sand paper
