My little 9 pound dog, dachshund, 9 inches between legs, and for my 13 pound dachshund leg spread 12 inches. This worked out perfectly. I purchased the small. I really had reservations as to how my dogs were going to react to this. I would have to say they were just totally fine with it. There was no hyperactivity no stress they just laid their suspended while I did their nails. I thought I would be totally stressed out, but I wasn’t stressed either! This does take two people in order to get the dog up in the air safely. And it’s good to have that same person as a spotter while you work on the nails. I do think the Clippers was fine for my 13 pound dog, but I will need to purchase some smaller ones for my little dog. I was so worried I wouldn’t be able to do this, but it worked out totally perfect. If you have reservations about doing this don’t. Just be careful that you don’t clip too short and the experience will be a good one for you and your dog. I’m delighted that I have saved $36 Every month and a half on this purchase. Plus there’s no travel to or from to get their nails trimmed, and I can do it on my own schedule.

This thing ROCKS!!!!The hardest part was getting him strapped in - thank goodness for the Velcro closures! I’m a single woman so trying to get a mini Tasmanian devil to do anything is a struggle.Once I had him hanging he just totally relaxed and let me peacefully clip and electrically file his nails!Well worth the purchase!

Good quality! Everything you need to groom your pup. A small size nail clippers were an unexpected delight. They are the perfect size for my 7lb Maltese.

The only reason that I gave this 4 stars is because the size and weight capacity description of the product seemed a little misleading. The first time I ordered it I got the XXL because the description said the weight capacity was 65lb max. Our dog is at least 50lbs so I wanted to make sure it would hold her. That one was way too large, so I ordered the XL, which fit her better, although slightly snug around her broad shoulders (30" around) but I could still fasten it. If you look at the size chart instead of the product description, it gives a much different weight capacity guideline. Also, I wouldn't classify our dog as an Xlarge dog. She is more like med/large at about 50lbs. That being said, it certainly did the job. It still takes 2 people, but made an impossible job very do-able. She HATES getting her nails trimmed. Once up in the hammock, with my husband able to hold her still, it took only a few minutes.

Great product for grooming my 25 pound corgi. It fit his long body and supported his chest well. I hung it up on a pull up bar but you could do it on a shower rod or other well supported bar in your home. Would recommend!

A little bigger than we were expecting and missed the return date. Other than that the material and build quality seem legit but unfortunately I didn’t get to test it and it now sits in the closet.

Makes it much easier to trim nails and cut hair on legs, head, and tail. One dog was pretty cooperative getting into it, but wiggled around when in it (not enough to stop me from trimming) Other dog fought like hell to avoid getting in it but eventually wrestled him into it and he instantly calmed down when he realized that he had no control. This is the first time I have been able to groom my anxious dogs without help holding them. Well worth it.
