Going silver/gray. When I ordered it, didn’t read about the 3 wire pieces on the clip-on and almost returned it. BUT, I decided to try it and I’m glad I did. I’m not a flat hair person - so these 3 wire pieces actually give me a fuller clip-on - I do wish the clip on was fuller - but I can work with this. Too curly so I used an electric comb to straighten it the way I like it. 👌🏻

My color is ridiculously difficult to match, and I’m happy to say the salt and pepper is actually a perfect match! The only thing I don’t like is how tall (distance from scalp to the artificial hair) the clip is, and it’s going to take some playing with it to know how to position the wires that the hair has (think wire arms covered with the fake hair). It looked really good after messing with it for only a couple of minutes, so it’s definitely a keeper. Now to find a fluffy wavy ponytail in the same color! Please note, the black and Pearl clip is not this product.

Update: I've purchased 3 of these previously and loved them. However, since they're synthetic, they don't last forever so I came for another. It is NOT the same as my previous 3 or 4. It is much shortet - not even close to 12". It's cute on and the clamps are always strong, but it's only a few inches longer than a bun. Not sure what happened but since these all say 12", something changed. Returning and trying again but I'm guessing it will be the same. 5 stars reduced to 3.Original review:I have a few messy buns I bought here on Bolo that I throw on for virtual meetings (I work remote). I wanted to try something new that wasn't quite so uptight looking. This one is a much better match for my hair (very highlighted dark ash blonde) - a little more variation would be a better total match but it looks real. There are wire/cord things inside of it that you can bend to your own tastes. At first I didn't realize that and bent them all around to try different looks - I was afraid they would show. They DO NOT at all, no matter how I style it - so versatile! I bend it up higher and out further for normal wear but closer in for work. My daughter (25) knows I wear the messy buns but she saw this one and said "wow mom, your hair looks so cute!". Claw is VERY strong, in fact a little difficult for me to open. It won't fall off ever. I wore it to work (in person) and I needed to adjust the prongs a few times throughout the day, but I absolutely love it and the claw didn't budge. I would like a little more color variation but the messy bun styles I've tried with highlights were TOO different in color for my hair (like brown and blonde chunks together). My natural hair in the front looks a little brassy in my pics, but it was right after highlighting. Some purple shampoo got a near-perfect match (I always tone a few times after highlighting because I hate brassy). I pull my own hair back into a tiny, tight bun and just clip this on. I pull a little hair over the top and bobby on it there and one on each side because I'm paranoid the clasp will show. It doesn't though, but it looks better that way to me. I'm going to buy a spare because I love it so much. Perfect length for what my hair would look like if I spent an hour poofing up my own pony. Buy it! Unlike some other pieces, the colors are true to the photos. SUCH a time-saver.

This is a great clip-on hairpiece. It matches my hair color perfectly! My gray hair is more platinum than gray and other hairpieces are too blueish gray. This one is a great color combo for dark brunettes turning gray with this platinum gray color. And it is easy to just pop on with the clip. So much easier than the rubber band bun type.

When clipping this on your head at the same level as shown in the photo the bottom hits above the next and not below. Style is shorter than depicted in the photograph. Still, very cute once you figure out how to arrange the hair wires.
