This is my first "foam" gun for cosplay, since most every local con now forbids even non-functional Airsoft or anything remotely realistic. It's a poor substitute for a nice replica, but for 25 bucks it's a cheap alternative that should pass the convention security inspections, so it's a great value in that regard.
