Initial impression: 4 starsBuild quality looks and feels good in the hand. Works really well. Simple and easy to use. No fancy LCD display which is a plus in my book. Simple devices are usually less likely to fail. Swivel power cord is a bad feature in my opinion.I bought this despite negative reviews. If it fails, I'll get my tools and multimeter out and we'll do an autopsy.Nothing on the box or product indicates country of manufacture.

Takes a minute to heat-up on highest setting (3 levels of heat-up), after that it straightens hair in about 4 combs, very useful and snazzy design, only problem is some hair will get caught in it - easy to remove

When this works, it's great. Unfortunately I think there's an issue with wiring on the part of the power cord that connects to the brush (I don't know the technical terms). It fully rotates and I think it eventually loosens the wires.I've bought two so far. This first lasted about three months. With the second I was very careful on how the power cord rotated and it lasted 7 months.I'm assuming I could open it up and fix the problem, but I don't have those skills.Fair warning, it does get very hot, so don't use it until your beard is dry, because you'll eventually burn your face.As far as straightening the beard, it's amazing. My beard is slightly wavey, so when it gets over a couple inches in length it can start looking like a mess. This product exceeded my expectations on functionality.Five stars if there weren't power issues.

Works Better Than The Big Brands
Iโve bought a few of these from different โbigโ name brands. None of them got the desired look I was trying to get. They just did not straighten and hold. I felt like this was a temperature issue. When I got this one I noticed that there are three ranges of temperatures. I also noticed it felt better in my hand than the cordless I had tried. The middle temperature was perfect for me. It works very well and heats up fast. In the morning I plug it in and turn it on. By the time Iโve brushed my teeth the brush is hot enough for me to use. The value I get from this brush was higher than brushes 3x the price.
Not impressed
box looked like been open alreadyPull it out of the white bag inside little hairs all over it and I donโt know what the big thing is skin booger who knows. I have read good reviews. Iโm not happy I get this all over mine.zoom in tell me Iโm wrong.
Great, but stopped working after less than a month
Worked great for the first 15 or so uses. Was used every weekday as part of my morning grooming routine at the medium heat setting, never came anywhere near water, suddenly no longer powers on as of today. Plugged in, pressing or holding the power button gets no response. Very disappointed as I was just starting to really understand how best to use it for my own beard, it had been an essential piece of my morning grooming routine.
Barely warms beard
I canโt say itโs defective due to packaging appearing to have been resealed after a returnโฆ but it barely heats up and does nothing for my beard. Better off with a blow dryer and brush.
