5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best quality organic products
ORGANIC SPREE Paneer Dodi Phool is a high-quality product. It arrived well-packaged and fresh. After using it regularly, I noticed an improvement in my sugar levels . It's been a great addition to my routine. I'm satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to others.
5.0 out of 5 stars Bitter, many health effects
These are natural dried flower blossoms used as a food supplement or herbal medicine in the Ayurvedic tradition.Oops, I ordered this thinking I could use it as a coagulant for plant-based cheese. For one thing it is the leaves of the plant that are used as a coagulant, and those leaves likely only work on dairy-based cheeses. My bad!So I did try it according to the recommendation for the sake of the review. It was very easy to use – I just soaked 10 blossoms in room temperature water overnight. In the morning it said to “squeeze” the blossoms to release the extracts. I sort of pressed on them with the back of a spoon which didn’t seem to do much, so I gave them a 1-second blitz in a blender, and strained through a tea strainer. It got very foamy even with that little blender zap. If I did this again I would probably use my handheld lime squeezer instead of blending.I drank it on an empty stomach, as directed. This was drinkable, but pretty bitter, like drinking water from soaked citrus peels. Looking at an Ayurvedic website, it looks like this is primarily taken to control blood sugar levels, support the liver, and control cholesterol. It can also be used topically on wounds. My blood sugar levels are on the high side of normal and my cholesterol levels are a bit higher than normal, so I do watch what I eat for those things. If this was pleasant to drink I would likely make it a daily routine. As it is, I am not likely to do that unless my numbers were worse than they are.
5.0 out of 5 stars Should Be in the Vitamin and Supplements Category
First off, I only got this because it appeared in the food category and is listed as "spice." I thought this was some type of Indian spice that could be used in cooking. It is not. It is meant to be consumed as a supplement for health on an empty stomach. I followed the directions on the pouch and soaked the pods overnight squeezing out the "tea." The resulting liquid was bitter and unpleasant. To be clear, this product has no culinary value and is exclusively taken for metabolic wellness. I did not have any negative reactions to it and feel pretty good after taking it.
3.0 out of 5 stars Good
4.0 out of 5 stars Is tart/bitter
Unfamiliar with Paneer Dodi but looked it up as I tend to do well with Ayurvedic products. Decided to try it and am not sure what all it may be doing for me but understand why the research read as it did. Will continue to use it. Like it is organic and in good condition. Seems promising. It is tart/bitter but that's OK if it provides the benefits it should.
5.0 out of 5 stars Horrible flavor, but highly impressive side effects.
Will confess that this took a whole lot of getting used to, and it has a whole lot to do with the flavor. It's incredibly bitter, and at times it tastes almost exactly like ashwagandha. I would soak it well till the globes balloon up unexpectedly bigger (some even grew up to the size of a garlic bulb!), and you're supposed to drink the water remaining. Very, very hard to get down, so it's possibly as easy as downing it quickly or with a juice or other strongly flavored drink. I did need to adjust the amount because it would have a diuretic effect with me, and at tines it would completely kill my appetite. However, I have noticed that my blood sugar levels and blood pressure is nowhere near as bad. It took four days to see a shift, but it's nonetheless impressive. Very bad flavor, but it actually does have some possible health benefits holistic enthusiasts might be strongly interested in.
5.0 out of 5 stars High-Quality, Pure Traditional Herb
I was looking for pure Paneer Dodi, also known as Indian Rennet, for its traditional wellness uses and was very pleased to find this product from Organic Spree. The quality appears to be excellent. The flowers are clean, and the product is exactly as described: 100% pure Withania Coagulans with no preservatives, added flavors, or chemicals. For a natural herbal product, this purity is the most important factor. The product comes in a simple, resealable packet which is convenient for keeping it fresh. For anyone familiar with the uses of Paneer Dodi for metabolic wellness, this is a great, straightforward option. It's a high-quality, natural product, and I'm very satisfied with it.
3.0 out of 5 stars Versatile Paneer Dodi Phool
This paneer dodi phool works well for making metabolic drinks, but I used it as a natural rennet for cheese-making and it performed beautifully. It’s a unique and versatile ingredient to keep in the pantry for both culinary and wellness uses.
Great quality
These are really great quality. Very good for health considering the quantity and quality price is good too.
Product is not good it seems to expired
Half of the product is old and in a bad quality and rest of the product even not in a good shape
Made me want to pee a lot
I didn’t mind the taste of the water that these little dried flowers had been soaking in overnight but found that drinking it made me want to pee a lot more so it doesn’t suit me unfortunately
