The cap screw holes in the brass pressure relief do not line up with the plastic cap. No part number on cap for reorder. Probably a good thing due knock-off quality.

I’d recommend that you stop and go ahead and order the OEM version. I just tried to install the repair kit and found the bonnet to be slightly too large to engage the body threads. The part tolerance is probably too lose and a good number of people with a body diameter on the smaller end of the manufacturing tolerance will have the same issue.

This would have been 5 stars if the hole pattern of the canopy (top black cover) matched the threaded posts in the bonnet (threaded brass piece that seats the assembly in place. See photo attached. I had to increase the diameter of the holes in the canopy to match. Not a big deal but was definitely surprising. Otherwise, all components function.

Perfect fit in OLD brass unit, keeps her running for more freeze seasons! Saved bankroll vs buying a new valve, and saved the planet, too! Easy install if you have any mechanical skills whatsoever. You need a screwdriver and a pipe wrench to hold the main unit steady when unscrewing the top.

Parts are an exact fit and install easily.I would recommend watching a YouTube video and work organized, lay the old parts out in order, then reverse installing the new parts.Saved by $375 not paying a plumber.
