Great product, works as expected and I don’t trust any other product for lows.Why change the packaging and not offer the original black packaging? I have to transfer it into a cup because my 4 year old diabetic refuses to take the “new” gel. With the influx of juvenile diabetes, this should be taken into account.

After I was diagnosed type 2 diabetic and my CGM would give me low glucose alarms, my husband found glucose gummies at the pharmacy and I tried those for a little while… but they didn’t do anything to raise my glucose and they tasted awful too!! One night I ended up hsving 4 in a row trying to get a boost… all they did was make me puke! I was then on a mission to find other ways to raise my glucose!I tried candi s .(the sizes you give out on Halloween) next and those worked but in the middle of the night eating a candy and with my disability. Being unable to get up and brush my teeth… it just wasn’t going to work… back to the drawing board and I found these gels and they have been a Godsend!! I. Csn take a full one and get a big boost or a half one… folding the top over & paper clipping it so it doesn’t leak… the half will give me a small boost or will stop the drop as I call it (if my CGM says that my glucose is trending lower with a down arrow… a half gel will usually freeze it in place!! Given my disabilities… these gels are easy to use and manageable in the middle of the night and I don’t feel the need to brush my teeth after using one!!They are also pretty tasty!! I don’t mind needing to use one like I did with gummies!!I will suggest to anyone out there to give these a try, you won’t be disappointed!! Whether you’re looking for something new to replace your current glucose booster or you’re looking for your first one!! Don’t hesitate!!I will continue to buy these!! I keep them all over the place; they are very portable… they are in my purse, my car. My nightstand, my kitchen, my living room! If my child was diagnosed diabetic and needed glucose boosters occasionally too… I would definitely get these for her!!

Type 1 diabetic for 20+ years…These are a little pricey vs. glucose tabs but they also taste better and have 2x the carbs (15g) vs the tablets.The taste isn’t as good as a small juice but it’s good enough it doesn’t taste like medicine. It tastes almost like sugar free jello but mushy. (I’m not doing a great job selling this, I know)It tears open easy and boom in 5 seconds of eating and 5ish minutes later, my sugar is heading up.Here is what I love:It works fast. The gel helps it absorb in your mouth on the way to your digestive systemIt’s TSA compliant, I travel frequently and this is always not flagged for further inspectionFlavor is good enough that it doesn’t taste like medicineIt’s very portable / convenient. I take it hiking, out in sun on beach, to yoga classes, etc.It’s thick packaging so it doesn’t tear or leak easy.It’s also GREAT for kids - they love squeeze pouches!Overall finding this item made treating my low blood sugars so convenient and quick. I highly recommend!

Convenient but daughter says taste bad

Wanted my type 1 daughter to be able to conveniently use during sports , without filling up on juice or candy. Unfortunately , she does not like, so much that she gags and refuses to use.
