The saying had me rolling when I first saw it. We are big cornhole fans so I thought one of the grown kids would love this hat. cornhole gear. Unfortunately, it turned out to be more of a novelty item than an actual wearable hat.First issue: it runs absurdly small. Like, toddler-small. I bought it for my husband (he’s the cornhole champ in our house), but even at the most “open” setting, it perched on his head like a sad little top hat at a tea party. I tried it on myself, and I normally have to crank hats way tighter to get them to fit—but even at full size, this thing barely made it over my head. Not sure whose heads they modeled this on…Barbie’s?And just when I thought maybe I could keep it for myself, the adjustable strap popped right out. Not after months of use—nope. This was after being on two adult heads for less than two minutes. The whole thing just disassembled like it was held together with hope and a dab of hot glue.The most frustrating part? The hat is actually cute. The material is soft, the print is clean, and it had all the potential to be a winner. But instead of joining our hat collection, it’s now just a weird, floppy reminder that looks aren’t everything.Really disappointed in this one. Cute junk is still junk.
