It does like to loose the screw that keeps it attached to the mixer as you use it, so keep an eye on that. Easy to clean.

First time use - Awesome! It works pretty well great “juicing capabilities” fibers come out pretty dry and got a lot of juice out of the produce I used. I did have to strain the juice once to get rid of small particles of the fruits and vegetables ( the strainer on the juicer has pretty big holes so some stuff sneaks through)The product seems well made but being an attachment made out of plastic I’m not sure it will last as long as an actual juicer. I chose to try this as I was looking for something that wouldn’t need a lot of space.The only “problem” I encountered is that when the machine is spitting out the bagasse, makes a lot of mess as it does not always fall inside the container provided… but I’m sure I could figure out a solution for it.Overall I would recommend.

This unit is so easy to use, and easy to clean. The juice quality is great, but it can oxygenate your juice pretty well. I had apple juice turn slightly brown, but it did not oxidize enough to cause off flavors. In fact it oxygenated it just right, to make a perfectly fermenting Apple Cider. The coder fermented all sugar in the cider leaving a 12% ABV Apple Cider. Highest I have ever made. The noise is rather quite for a juicer. I was greatly surprises. Do not run this unit higher than 3. I typically run 1 or 2 when I am trying to get a heavy extraction from skin and pulp. This made an excellent dark blueberry juice that made an amazing blueberry wine. I am happy with the speed this attachment produces juice.

The media could not be loaded. Update: Will be returning mine. The auger is plastic and the first time I did carrots, which is harder than oranges, it seems the teeth of the auger is breaking. Don’t understand why no one makes this same thing is stainless steel. Even with plastic, it does such a god job of extracting quality juice, compared to the $200-$300 centrifugal juicers. And the $600-$800 range cold press juicers all use some kind of plastic augers! This one is such a helpful Kitchenaid attachment, but unless it’s in stainless steel, it’s a health hazard.Build quality is premium, even though it’s plastic. Had to improvise a little to make sure the cups were placed close to the source so that the liquids don’t splatter everywhere. Not a big deal.Did an efficiency test:1 orange - 197gmPealed orange - 148gmJuice - 98gmPulp that came out - 47gmRemaining pulp stayed back which had to be cleaned at the end, and that seemed normal.Points to note: everything should be cleaned right away, otherwise if it dries up, it’ll be difficult to clean.

In the past I have had a very high end juicer, it lasted many years but the motor eventually burned out. Then I had purchased a more median priced juicer that lasted 3 years before it quit working. This attachment is very reasonably priced, quality is great, and it works great. Saves alot of space compared to a full juicer. Easy to assemble and clean. If something breaks down the road or quits working, I will purchase another. Too convenient for me to go back to a full juicing system.
