when I ordered this item, I was not aware that the arms came off and the head, quite frequently. This frustrates very young children. I tried to hot glue the arms on and the head. but did not work.

Felt very breakable, in fact, shadows head was already broken on arrival. Definitely not suitable for kids who are rough on toys. It was a very soft plastic but it seems like a cool display piece. Definitely not for playing with though.

In general, this is a great looking figure of Knuckles. Pretty spot-on to Classic Knuckles' more recent appearances and the poses he's able to strike with his various optional arm parts are cool. Based on that alone, he's a fun figure to have, especially if you pair him with the rest of the Classic Sonic build-able figures. Watch out, though, because the quality control isn't perfect, which mostly manifests in the paint job being a bit messy or having very minor visual blemishes.I do however have a couple of more significant complaints, the primary one being that Knuckles' left eye appears to have been applied poorly, with there being a blatant gap between his black pupil and the "top" of his eye whites. Effectively, it looks like his pupil had a slice taken off the top of it. Normally I would consider this to be a one-off manufacturing error, call it unlucky, move on and probably not mention it in my review... this time, though, I have seen other people experience the same issue. This leads me to believe that ALL of these build-able Knuckles figures have the same eye problem, which is just bizarre, frankly, because it's really obvious.The second complaint I have is about the extremely strange choice to include a one-in-ten chance to receive a glow-in-the-dark Chaos Emerald accessory instead of the standard Chaos Emerald accessory. What exactly is the point of this? Just a fun bonus? Or an attempt to encourage people to purchase the same exact figure multiple times? These things aren't blind bags, they're $15 figures and they aren't random. Please don't buy these repeatedly to try and get the special accessories, it's entirely not worth it.Between the odd eye issue, generally weak quality control, and my distaste for the rare accessory variants, there are things to be wary of with this figure. However, despite these problems, it's still an overall good-looking figure, and the whole build-able gimmick is fun. If you find it on sale (they're usually $15), I can definitely recommend it.
