One of those things you don’t thing you need but it’s nice to have. It’s certainly makes the job of spraying for weeds or bugs easier. It has really good battery life. It’s easy to clean too. Not too heavy when it’s full so easy to carry. I had to take a star for assembly. It should have just come ready out of the box.

With a large yard and large pond plagued with Lilly pads, spraying can be cumbersome. The current pump style sprayer we have works but it gets annoying pumping it all of the time. Especially when we spray the pond since that's done from a kayak. Trying to pump up a sprayer in a kayak can be tricky to say the least. This sprayer is still small enough to fit into the kayak but not so small you have to constantly refill it. It keeps the flow moving perfectly. It was fairly easy to assemble. I've become accustomed to assembling everything from Bolo so I always assume assembly is required. The battery lasts long enough to get through what I need, so no complaints there. Overall, excellent sprayer that you can go without....but do you really want to?? No!

5.0 out of 5 stars Game changer!!! Best sprayer I've ever used

As a home owner with a yard that I maintain myself, there is a constant fight with the weeds. I generally apply a spot weed clear twice a year. I used to use a 2 gallon tank sprayer that require manual pumping. The problem with that setup is that you keep having to pump the tank and it's hard to get a consistent flow. So you have to constantly adjust the nozzle. With this powered sprayer, you get a consistent flow... almost down to the last drop. The 1.35 gallon capacity seems to be great as well... it's not too heavy, and it seems to hold enough for my average size yard... with an average number of weeds.I didn't know how this would work... turn out, there is an on-demand pump inside that pressurizes the hose. When the pressure drops, the pump kicks on. That way, you get a constant pressure. It's a great idea.

Sometimes my wife likes to spray the grass that's coming up in her flower beds. The other sprayers I have are really too large for this. I have an 8 gallon cart style sprayer and a 21 gallon towable sprayer. We also have a pump-up sprayer, but as we get older, we like like pumping them up less and less. This little unit charged up fairly quickly. It has a really nice steady stream and plenty of power for what it needs to do. The spray can be adjusted from a really fine mist to a steady stream. It was surprisingly lightweight, which we're pleased with and the fact that holds a bit over a gallon will be more than enough for what she normally does. If you have a need for a small sprayer, I could definitely recommend this one.

I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to get a review in for this before Spring due to lack of herbicide application opportunity.(Un)Fortunately, some bed bugs came along and helped me out by providing me with a need. This is our second go around with the little terrors. The first time was 8 years ago right as we were getting ready to move into our new house. Fortunately both times the problem was caught early due to the household adults being educated on what to look for (mainly a series of what look like mosquito bites in a straight line).I still had leftover chemical from that treatment so I went to work the next day doing an initial treatment. Just for reference for random internet people, Bedlam Plus is still apparently effective after 8 years. I wasn't sure if it would be and you should always do a follow-up treatment about three weeks after the first. I did some research and found out that Crossfire from MGK is now considered the premier bed bug chemical and the cost effective method of doing so is to buy 13oz and mix it with a gallon of water for application via sprayer. This thing was going to see its day in the Winter sun after all!The size, at 1.35gl, was perfect for this purpose. It's got a strainer built into the neck where you add the chemical and the water. I poured everything in, put the cap on pretty tight (a bit more on this later) and shook vigorously prior to application. The Crossfire mixes up into a runny milk like liquid. I had tightened the wand, tip, nub on the hand and the cap down pretty tight. Tighten them very tight to ensure no drippage. The unit comes with a heavy duty adjustable nylon strap to carry it with while you work. It's probably meant to rest on your shoulder. I was worried about the unit slipping and falling while I was trying to navigate/move around furniture to access baseboards and what-not so I started out carrying it like a mailman (with the strap over my head on the opposite shoulder). After a while I found it more comfortable to just wear it like the Brandy those avalanche rescue dogs carry around, with the strap around the back of my neck and the unit just hanging down in front of me. The strap did start aggravating my neck after a while but today it feels fine (the application was yesterday).Once you have the wand assembled there's a holder slot for it within the top of the unit's handle. The pieces appear to be interchangeable with off the shelf manual pump pressure sprayers, so that's a big plus. I don't know if it was due to the consistency of the pesticide mix, but even with the tip tightened down as far as it would the spray that came out was only partially atomized. I had it flinging around some decent sized droplets a lot of the time. The spray pattern was pretty liberal. Probably about a foot of coverage when the wand was a foot away from the surface. Again, it seems that the parts are standard pieces, so you could presumably trade out the wand or the tip with one from a different sprayer and get the results you desire if you need more of a mist-like spray. When loosened up a little the tip emits a powerful focused stream.Once you flip the power on it immediately starts pressurizing the unit. It doesn't take very long to do so. Maybe 7-8 seconds from depressurized to fully pressurized. It will kick on as you spray and run for a second or two after you relent to keep pressure within built up. There is a timeout period where it will shut itself off if not used. I couldn't tell you exactly how long this is. If I had to guess I'd say between 10 and 20 minutes. I began spraying at 9:30AM and wrapped up spraying for the day after going through a little over a gallon of the mix (so almost all of it) around 6:00PM. This was with breaks and intermittent spraying as I moved things around and what-not. This was all on a single charge. There is a USB-C port for re-charging. From time to time the motor would do this weird thing where it would kick on but run at (I would guess due to audible cues) a lower speed. I'm not sure if it was actively trying to pressurize the tank when it was doing that or not. Generally turning the power off and then back on and then spraying a bit would fix it. This happened maybe half a dozen times throughout the day.One major annoyance for me is the locking trigger mechanism. It's way too easy to engage. When I first started spraying I had a combination of it sticking without me realizing (due to loud music so partially my fault) and the cap leaking some pesticide because it was snugged down tight but not extremely tight and I ended up with a puddle of pesticide mix on the floor. Not ideal. Even after figuring out how easy it was to engage the trigger lock on accident it kept happening to me throughout the day without me intending it. They really should incorporate some kind of lock-out for when you do not want to engage the locking mechanism. So it's not a perfect unit. However, it made it through a long day of spraying like a champ and I look forward to using it in the Spring for some yard work. I get tired of buying a new cheap pump sprayer every year because they're just not built to last.
