I have several others and I also returned one of them. I know the price of this is kinda high, but this is literally amazing!!! It’s so comfortable, and it’s really nice material. It’s very easy to figure out and use unlike some others. It fits great and I can adjust it to my waist band. I didn’t even look at the instructions and was able to figure it out . That’s how easy it was for me to get it sized and on. I love it and most importantly my baby loves it. She cries in a lot of them , she’ll cry if she doesn’t like certain things I get. She loved this carrier. I love how many ways you can do it. The last recent carrier I got was a Mumgaroo, and it was nice and all but the only thing that really worked well for my baby was the platform for her to sit on. There was so many straps and pieces I was trying to figure out. It’s also Velcro and i felt it wasn’t enough to stay put. I really liked the platform , and I pretty much only used that . So when I found this one but bigger , it got my attention. I also looked at the reviews and wanted to see what others think. After lots of reading and research , I finally decided to get this one. I’m so glad I did , because I love it , my baby loves it. It’s super nice , and so easy to put on . It’s got a buckle instead of that Velcro in the other. It’s so much more sturdier I feel. And my favorite part , the platform , it’s a bit bigger so my baby can have more room to sit. And as she grows, she can grow into it . I plan to keep this for future kids. I approve of this and so does my happy little baby😊(It’s adjustable to so many different sizes)So whether you got a small waist like me , or you got a big waist , it can work for any. If you’re having trouble finding a good carrier , try this one ! The worst case scenario is it’s not for you, and just return it . But I Hope this review helps other moms who are struggling to find a carrier.Oh also , the only thing I do have to say is it can kinda cause back pain but I think all carriers do. Maybe it’s just me too since my back hurts from hunching all the time. Happy purchase and happy customer !

BUY IT!!! I stressed for weeks analyzing and comparing a bunch of them, wished I had bought it sooner.I have a cracked lumbar and regular carriers out pressure on my back and doesn’t matter how ergonomics they claim to be, they just killed me.This one is different, the seat helps so much with the weight distribution, it’s comfortable for me and the baby.Bottom line, we can finally snuggle, help release pressure of his head (no longer flat head, not a container baby which he was starting to be)It’s sooo comfortable, he falls asleep all the time and it’s so hard to put him down because he’s so comfortable and so am I, and i just don’t mind it and don’t have a heart to put him down.I feel like the pressure gets put more on the hips but not even much, it’s just perfect for someone whose back hurts.Lightweight but quite bulky, still don’t mind because it soooo functional.I use it primarily for our 4mo old and considering getting a second one for my 2yr old since it says it can be used up to age 4 or 45lbs.Trust me, it’s that good that I took the time to write this.

Love this item. Comfortable for baby and wearer. Quality of the item is fantastic and sturdy. I watched a YouTube tutorial to adjust the straps for the perfect fit based on waist size. The carrier is easy to use but can be a bit clunky when lugging around. Though the carrier is clunky, it is lightweight and works wonderfully. My back has never felt better.

This has been life changing. The hip seat has saved my back from being completely destroyed. It’s great cause you can detach the straps and pick them up fast and hold with one arm. Definitely a must have for parents. Only downside is that it’s bulky and takes up space, but there’s nothing you can do to change that realistically

I wanted this to be great for my young baby, but it is not. I find it very uncomfortable. It puts pressure on parts back and hips. I can only wear it for a few minutes at a time and then find myself taking it off. My baby 6mo and is 25lbs. I used it to nurse him a few times when he was younger, but found it less than ideal.It’s pretty easy to adjust. Quality is good. I never used the storage other that sticking my phone in a couple of times, but the pockets seem to be good sized.

I bought this product for my niece, who has a 1 year old. She loves it and uses it daily. 1 year olds aren’t heavy, until you have been holding them for awhile, and then you will wish you had this.

This hip seat came on a lot of handy once my son hit 8 kgs. He was able to sit comfortably against me at that point. I’ve found it particularly helpful for shorter distances when putting my full carrier on wasn’t worth it. Supports my back and quick.

As a hip carrier, it does exactly what it’s supposed to: it shifts the weight to your hips, reducing pressure on the upper body and making carrying more manageable.What I especially like about this carrier is the seat itself. It’s wide, supportive, and provides a secure, comfortable spot for my toddler to sit. Compared to other brands I’ve tried—where the seat is often narrow or slopes downward—this one features a flatter, more spacious platform that keeps my child well-positioned and at ease. The structure of the seat also feels solid and reliable. Unlike some designs that use only a hard top layer with a hollow compartment underneath (to double as storage), this seat is fully reinforced throughout. That likely explains why this carrier includes just a small pocket and no major storage compartments—and honestly, I’m fine with that. I also discovered that instead of threading the excess strap outside (as it comes originally), you can loop the extra length inward to keep it hidden. This solved the bunching issue entirely.• That said, I really wish the carrier came with clear instructions on how to properly adjust the waist strap. It’s versatile enough to fit both large and small waist sizes, but figuring that out took some unnecessary trial and error.• The adjustment buckle is quite rigid, so making real-time adjustments—especially while holding your child—is nearly impossible. I either have to get help or make sure everything is fitted properly in advance.Final Thoughts:This is a well-designed and practical carrier for parents of older babies and toddlers. The breathable mesh is a plus, and while it doesn’t offer extra storage space beyond the small pocket, the solid, thoughtfully constructed hip seat more than makes up for it. Makes carrying baby do much easier. Especially the hop seat. I use it around the house as well because my baby is 11 months and still loves being carried around. Also use it to put the baby to sleep by using it for cradle hold for support.

Yeah, for me and my oldest daughter who is 11, and very thin, we can comfortably fit the band. EXCELLENT choice when it comes to how it was designed if you think through the Velcro vs the buckle etc, Ergo is a very reliable product as I have had a fail proof carrier I got as a gift 11 years ago that has carried my 5 kids !! I wanted to try this carrier because my fifth baby is my chubby baby and wished to have support while I hold him like this, it’s truly an awesome idea ! And by freeing the strap from the loops, even my very thin daughter could fit or or my larger friend (if she would babysit perhaps), BUT, we just did not find it truly functional or comfortable, as yes somehow we maybe didn’t know how high or low on the hip to put it, it wasn’t truly comfy, although the strap is well constructed and comfy in itself. Maybe I would hav enjoyed using this when my baby was less weight. He’s about 24lbs now. Everyone is different.. just wasn’t for us and I don’t want someone to read other reviews and not give a fair chance because I do think it’s a great product !
