I was a bit doubtful if this thing would even work, let alone maintain a decent humidity level. I put in in my stainless steel humidor (with locking plastic lid and seal) along with 3 new cigars. After 1 day the humidity inside was 69% and it stayed there, give or take a point or two. Good enough for me! I used a wireless electronic humidity sensor to measure though only for the first check. Going forward I'll just use the little card that's included (which I liked).

Put three 67g 69% packs in my 100 cigar humidor.Humidity dropped below 53% before I tossed them. All of them were still soft and pliable as the day I put them in.They don’t work. Buy the brand name.
