5.0 out of 5 stars Great brake grease!
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Works flawlessly for my brake pads, this grease keeps them from sticking to the calipers during high heat.AAA+
2.0 out of 5 stars Good grease / poor applicator
This is a silicone grease so it shouldn't negatively affect rubber seals.There are places on brakes where you don't want to put grease, but this is difficult when the brush bristles bend in all directions and stay that way. They also fall out. For the high price, the brush is not acceptable.
5.0 out of 5 stars Smooth brakes
Excellent product value for money., blue color
5.0 out of 5 stars My new go-to for high performance brake lube, USA Made!
Normally I didn't have a brake lube brand, usually it comes with replacement pads or if not that, I usually ask at the counter of a auto store n they give me the single application packets.They are normally about 3 bucks or so for every packet with one being possible to apply for 2 brakes but it's really stretching it...Also the packets don't really specify it's limits or contents of what it is. It's brake lube n that's basically it... And it's usually a copper color or metallic silver.That can be confusing because the pads n the brakes have generally the same color as well...When I found 4lifetime a brake lube with high performance & made in the USA, I was sold.This brake lube is by far better than any small packet I ever used.First thing I loved about it is the color of the lube, it's a bright blue. It really helps to identify what's lubed n what isn't. The contrast between brake pad n the lube applied is wonderful, super easy to spot.Second thing was all of the benefits the product has.Not only is it brake lube but it's a high performance brake lube with the working temperature range being -50° fahrenheit to +3,000° fahrenheit, in addition it has a brush attached to the top of the lid.It helps to keep things clean by not having to insert objects inside so it doesn't cross contaminate the contents at all.Lastly I support everything made in USA.United States has excellent workmanship by it's workers and high standards that are transparent with the labeling itself. You get what you pay for... No tricks or bait n switch.Overall this high performance brake lube is the one to get. Amazing quality and high performance with everything done here in the US! Plus this is officially the brand to go to for brake lube for myself!Totally worth every penny100% recommended !
5.0 out of 5 stars good stuff for brakes and I must have for a D.I.Y. guy like myself
What I can say strong enough is, this will not fix a poor preforming brake caliper or stop worn out parts from ruining a rotor however, if you are rebuilding a break caliper or replacing break pads. This stuff is the bomb! This is a large amount of the anti squeak stuff that comes in the little tubes when you purchase certain brands of brake pads. I apply a small amount smeared on the back side or the non contact side of the break pad and a tiny amount on the pistons of the caliper to keep them moving freely. I would say, if you don't have a little can of this stuff and you change your own brake pads, what are you waiting for this is a must have product.I want to be very clear!!!! This is not to be applied to the contact surface of the brake pad or the side of the brake pad that will touch the rotor. This will prevent the brake pad from working period!! YOU WON'T HAVE ANY BRAKES IF THIS IS APPLIED TO THE WRONG SIDE OF YOUR BRAKE PADS!! Thus you can't stop your truck or car. Use this correctly and you won't have a brake squeak again which is peace of mind for me knowing my brakes are working properly. The high temp grease is great for many other things and I use it in different applications as well so, it doesn't break down under high temperatures and that's is awesome!
4.0 out of 5 stars Ceramic Brake Lubricant
Rear Brake of my car was squeaking. After cleaning it with break cleaner Squeak doesn't go away. I did purchase this Ceramic Brake Lubricant and applied it to the parts of Break and Squeak go away. I used it to lubricate the guide pins and it seems to do the job. Please don't apply to Roter and front of break pad.... It worked well for me. It is much better than any other brake grease on the market.
5.0 out of 5 stars Absolute must have
Properly maintaining brakes is important, as a mail carrier, I tend to go through them faster than most. I change out my brakes about every six months or so depending on the type of pads I use. I have always used some sort of lubricant on the backside of the brakes and on the caliper guide pins to ensure smooth quiet braking.This lubricant is better than what I have been using in the past which I have finally run out of. Yes, this is a lot to spend on a small bottle of this stuff, but a little goes a long way, and for most people this will last you for the life of your vehicle.As others have noted this is incredibly slick and when doing your own brakes you should take care to keep this and other forms of grease or lubricant away from the rotors themselves. After applying this lubricant inspect the rotor for any residue and use some brake cleaner and a towel to remove it as this could be catastrophic.
5.0 out of 5 stars No squeaks
I like to do most of my own regular maintenance and swapped out rotors and pads on a couple of our vehicles. I used this grease and found that it seems to be holding up well. No squeaks or squeals, and the pads/calipers seems to be functioning smoothly as expected.
Not a great value , container comes less than half full.
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } The container came approximately 1/3 full of product , 2/3 full of air. I bought a raybestos silicone lube as well , same size container but full. Not impressed with being ripped off. Hopefully the product works well , I will find out in a year when I re- service the brakes.
