This ice cream maker attachment is fantastic! It was so easy to use with our KitchenAid mixer. The kids had a blast making their own flavors, and it turned into such a fun, happy family day. Highly recommend!

Super easy to use. I just froze it for 24 hours and then added the ingredients I wanted to use in my ice cream. After about 30 minutes, I put it in a container to harden it, and then, two hours later, we enjoyed the best homemade ice cream.

I bought this 11/10/24 for my husband's birthday. We used it 3 times. It leaked blue coolant all over the base of the Kitchen Aid. It continue to leak blue fluid even when upside down. I wrote them ("contact us" to resolve before this review. 3 weeks- No response. It was a total waste of my money. The lack of response speaks volumes for the product and customer service. I wish i could give it zero stars.Ok this is a kick in the head my wife wrote a review the above the company said they were so sorry and they offer a full refund if I replied to their e-mail with the words "Full refund" I did then I get an E-mail from Bolo saying the e-mail address not good. WHAT! disappointed and I thought this was a serious company

Perfect for summer treats. The bowl freezes well, and it only takes about 20–25 minutes to get delicious, creamy ice cream. Way better than store-bought—plus it’s fun to experiment with flavors!

So I’m not sure what rating to give it bcuz I never used it. I bought it thinking since most of my family is lactose intolerant. That type of ice cream is very hard to find. We live 25 mins from major grocery stores that would carry it & if I did buy it it’s melted by the time I get home even in an ice chest. I thought since I hv a Kitchen Aid mixer why not try this. After opening the box & reading the instructions I found it’s just not for me & my busy schedule. It says nothing on Bolo that you hv to freeze the bowl for 2 days then make sure the ingredients are chilled b4 placing in 2 day frozen bowl or it won’t work right. It doesn’t say No SALT needed of which I thot might go between the outside & inside bowl-again nothing in Bolo description. When I want to make homemade ice cream I want to make it right then especially if the grandkids stop by. I don’t plan that far ahead. So I’ll just buy an old fashion churn style or electric ice cream maker that uses salt & hv the grand kids take turns sitting on the top. It doesn’t help make it freeze faster but my dad said it did so of course we’d fight over taking turns. He’d fold the paper bag the ice came in (60’s & 70’s era) then placed the folded bag on top so us kids could sit on it . Great memories!!!😊

I didn’t realize how easy it could be to make homemade ice cream until I got this attachment. It fits perfectly on my KitchenAid stand mixer and churns smooth, creamy ice cream in about 20–30 minutes. We’ve made everything from vanilla bean to cookie dough and sorbet. The bowl freezes well, the dasher is sturdy, and cleanup is simple. If you love ice cream, this is a must-have!
