All you have to do is rip open the top, push the gel into the chamber and lay it down where the ants are - voilà the ants come running to the bait! The next day all of the ants in my pantry were gone. It's also not as runny as some other stations I've used in the past since it's a gel and not water-based. You don't have to worry about it spilling out everywhere which I like because I have kids and pets. This stuff is AMAZING!!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Bye Ants
They work, they work well. I would personally suggest obtaining it in another form (like the syringes with the gel) since those will give you more for your money but if you want a quick and setup and go approach for ants this will do the job. You might just need a couple more if your infestation is rather big or persistent.
5.0 out of 5 stars It works!
I have tried about everything to get rid of ants on my kitchen counter and in our family room. A couple of my friends told me about Advion and shared that it had worked for them. So I bought Advion and am experiencing the benefits.Every year ants find my kitchen counter - but they were earlier this year. Now they have wings! And they crawl up the TV and swarm around the chair side light in the evenings.I put the Advion around the windows where it seemed they are coming in. First, in the kitchen and now in the family room too. There were fewer and fewer each evening and now they are gone! I’m so glad about that! I bought the tubes of gel and that’s what has worked for me. I also bought the gel stations (which I haven’t used). I’m glad to know about Advion - the exterminator’s price is $250, plus $95 for repeat applications. So happy to be rid of ANTS!!!
4.0 out of 5 stars Works alright
Had to use all 3 of the baits for what I thought was a minor infestation. The ants kept taking it but more and more kept coming. I finally had to order a tube of the gel to supplement. They never actually stopped coming for it but I just decided after nearly 2 weeks to take it up and luckily the ants seemed to go away finally. In the past when I've used other baits the ants stop appearing after a day or two.
1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn’t work
I assumed these would work well because how expensive they are but I put them directly next to areas that had lots of ants and they didn’t attract even a single ant. I left them there for a few day and still nothing. I bought the cheaper ones from the hardware store put those out and within five minutes ants were already carrying back the bait to the colony. These definitely do not work and are not worth the money.
5.0 out of 5 stars Ants are certainly attracted to it
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: I was so amazed to find zero ants the next morning! This stuff is amazing!I opened all three of these at once and placed them in various spots in my kitchen where I’ve seen ants. This is the only one of the three that has really done any good but I’m blaming placement for the other two not having any action. I’ll move them around a bit and see if it helps. I can’t say whether or not this will kill the colony but I would hope so after so many ants have been dining on it today! The only negative thing I’ll say is the double sided tape is on the contoured side of the product. I feel like it should be on the flat side so the entrance can be flush against the counter or wall or wherever you put it. That’s why mine is upside down in the photo.
3.0 out of 5 stars Uncertain Solution
It was easy to use, and I guess it did its job of scaring the ants away, but it was somewhat unsettling to not see the ants ANYWHERE after seeing them overrun my kitchen for a week straight. As far as the price goes it's pretty cheap, definitely cheaper than having to share rent with a colony of ants in your house. I didn't have any (noticeable) problems with it traps (like leaking) so I guess it works but don't expect to see dead ants in it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Worked quickly
We have been fighting little ants in our house for a couple years using all different products. We even used the Advion gel (not traps) and had limited success. We ordered these stations and had no ants to try them on for over a month. This week it rained and the ants came back. We set one of these stations (easy!) and were shocked at the huge number of ants feeding inside the station. After one day, we were ant free. Amazing. Not sure when the next ant invasion will come, but this is now the go-to solution in our house.
