Got two of these after our cat tried to climb up the chimney. We knew we should have them anyway when we have fires in the fireplace but the cat made it a more immediate need. Anything was going to look better than a cardboard box in front of the fireplace!The screens were easy to assemble. They have small back feet that fit inside the fireplace so the screens can be flush with the wall. No cat getting inside! The front feet make it so it won’t fall over and the cats can’t pull it down.Like the simple black look. Didn’t want anything too crazy or stand out. The black on white is great.Haven’t tested with a fire yet but look like they will be up to the job!

After looking at fireplace screens for weeks, many for hundreds of dollars, I decided to take a chance on this one, for only $64. I figured it I didn't like it I could donate it or give it away. However, we love it! It's elegant and simple. Just as you see in photos. For some reason I thought the legs faced inward but our cats immediately demonstrated why that's not the right way. It looks great with the legs turned out. Breeze to put together. Recommend without reservation.

Arrived today, needed something in a pinch to cover our fireplace. This was a breeze to assemble, a few screws and you’re good to go. This is pretty lightweight so be aware it is not a heavy duty barrier if that’s what you are looking for- but it does seem sturdy like it will hold up and do what it is intended to. We have a gas fireplace, so this is more of a safety barrier for our kids accidentally throwing a ball or something straight in there. Can’t beat this price point either!

This is a great screen! Perfect size for my fireplace. I picked this design for a special reason. I have a free roaming bearded dragon and he always tries to climb into the fireplace to sleep (dont worry it was not in use). He would wedge himself inbetween the fake logs which is a pain and also dangerous for him. This is especially not good for him during winter since the temp is way too cold so I needed a practical way to keep him out. I was concerned since it is a mesh screen that he could climb it and cause trouble but since the dimensions extend beyond the fireplace opening by 1 - 2 inches, he cant slip past the screen. The screen has 2 bottom feet which fit inside the fireplace opening so you get a good snug fit without gaps on the side. Yes, it's a special use case but I think it demonstrates this item was put to the test. Highly recommend

Looks great and was just what we needed in front of the fireplace so our dog stops dropping his toys inside. Was simple to put on the feet and the perfect size for us. Highly recommend this product.
