When I made the discovery, said poop was quite dry and some of the more, er, liquid stuff had matted in with the carpet, so there was not much hope of getting everything out without assistance. I got this, and lo and behold, it worked! My carpet is poo-and-pee-free! Mine had no issues with build. The device was sturdy and easy to use, though I did find putting the soap water tank back on a little weird until I got the hang of it.The biggest thing to make this work is to be patient. Read the instructions carefully, including those on the device, go slowly, try to get as much dry material out as you can, make sure the area is pre-treated and thoroughly wet before using the vacuum. If you've got several spots, focus on one at a time, and don't try to mass clean at once. Be ready to make more than one pass for the really integrated stuff. Urine came out very easily, even old stuff, and it definitely got rid of the smell. But I still had some faint staining remaining for the deepest and oldest poo, so don't be afraid to follow with a secondary stain remover if needed.

Used it just yesterday to clean the front seats of the car. Easy to use and lifted a lot of dirt out of the seats. Just remember it is plastic and don't force the parts as you might snap off a piece. I plan on being gentle as I think it is going to help with pet messes.

Great little machine!I made the mistake of buying light colored carpets when I was 22 and hopeful. Needless to say, they didn’t maintain their beauty for long.But this carpet cleaner had brought them back to life! Easy to clean and fill, great at lifting dirt and stains, and space efficient to store when not using.

The Bissell carpet cleaner for pet messes is very good. The first time I used it, as the clean water with the Bissell stain/odor remover was being used, the tank for the dirty water filled. The results were good. Since the first use, the clean water with the stain/odor remover is used up, the tank for the dirty water should be filling up. It isn't. I'm not sure why. I don't think I'm doing anything different but the liquid remains in the carpet. The stain is still visible. I need to check the FAQ's on the website or call Bissell to find out what I'm doing wrong. If used correctly, like I did the first time, the stain and odor are gone. I think I've done something different but don't know what it is that is causing the problem. I will find out the correct procedure.

Awesome lil machine. If you have an older pet, my case, accidents are frequent and lugging a full size steam cleaner around is a pain. Also great for your car, house steps if carpeted, and RVs/boats.

I bought this yesterday & got same day delivery. It arrived at 8:30 last night. First thing this am (while still in my pjs) I had to try it. It’s been 3 years not going to lie since I had someone clean & I was disappointed in how fast they cleaned or did not steam clean. So after reading the reviews I chose this. Pets are not an issue I just want a powerful handheld device with a good water spray & powerful vacuum so my furniture is not left soaking wet.I did my couch first. And yup that water is from my couch. Horrific! I vacuum every week & no kids no pets so I run a clean house. I cannot wait to use this on my outdoor furniture!I got a sample bottle of the shampoo & again no pet stains or anything but I did use it & the smell is very pleasant. I didn’t quite use the 2oz because I didn’t want too much shampoo on the furniture.The spray is wide & quick, the suction power on the nozzle is strong!- Most important thing!Quite easy to carry around with the solution in. Doesn’t wobble or fall over. Very compact. Very long power cord which I really appreciated. The hose also is great. Can’t be any shorter. But I could reach half of my couch with it.Noise level I would say a little less than my vacuum. I didn’t really notice it.Bissell-I understand this is handheld but I would like the containers to hold more water & the max fill line for the dirty water also. But not bad at all. I filled a few times & emptied twice. You will know when you’ve reached the max fill as the nozzle won’t suck up any more water.Also the handle needs to be a little longer. I’m a female of average size with avg size hands (not small) I found numerous times while trying to grab the nozzle to run across the furniture to vacuum up the water my fingers kept hitting the spray nozzle & so it would spray.Overall amazing!!! I wish I had more to clean because it’s addictive!

My 2 yr old pretty little princess, who is fixed and been to the vet many times about this is a FIERCE protector. You are not going to walk into that guestroom without knowing she's the boss. Until this machine.Now there's some old marking that I can't seem to get up but it's infinitely better. Recommend getting a powerful uv light too.This is lightweight, long cord and hose. Easy to use. Is loud but that little f—sweet fluffy kitty doesn't deserve peace when I have to use this.

Me encanto! Me ha funcionado para limpiar pipi del colchon que mi niño esta aprendiendo a avisar, limpiar las camas de los perros, incluso limpie la tapiceria de mi carro, succiona muy bien el agua y lo deja casi seco, un par de horas y queda completame seco.

Es esencial para limpiar alfombras, sillas o sofás, la carga es pequeña por lo que hay que estar rellenando constantemente, tiene bastante fuerza solo que las piezas son algo frágiles y no he visto repuestos.
