Only needed to push the floor protectors in and attach the base to the top. Rungs were already fully assembled. Took about 5 minutes to fully assemble, using the provided Allen wrench. Very sturdy. The different heights makes it nice to use for both my compter chair and bed. Love the easy to clean grips. Heavier than expected, but still lightweight enough to move it from room to room by myself.

My Dad is disabled so we actually purchased this bar to give him the option to go camping this year. It was so nice for us to use since it is lightweight but also sturdy. He used it to go in and out of a tent. How it is made you can even weight the bottom if needed but we didn't need to for this trip. Very happy with it!

This tipped over when I tried to use it to stand up. I don't know if I didn't know how to use it right or not. i think it has to be tucked under something to keep it from tipping but if you do that, you don't have any area between your legs and the device. It is sturdy, just poor design concept.
