Over the years the fiberglass pad the vehicle manufacture used between the metal frame and actual carpet topper separated causing a rattle whenever I listened to music with some bass. I stuck this tape on the backing and pressed the fiberglass pad to it. It's not coming off. I tried to re-adjust a piece and just ended up ripping the fiberglass pad. That part sucked but the fact it had such a strong bond after only a few seconds was surprising. And it's only supposed to get stronger with time. I was not expecting this to actually work as good as it did considering the materials I was trying to adhere together (Fiberglass and carpet / some kind of cardboard). The roll I received looks like legit 3M product and defiantly sticks like it.

The 3M Double Sided Tape 300LSE feels different from my thinner roll of 300LSE. While the other roll has a slightly gummy texture and some elasticity, this roll feels more stiff with less stretch. The bite adhesion seems less tacky, but it holds well. I’ve used this tape when replacing iPad and iPhone batteries, and it seems to work okay so far. Despite the differences, it remains a reliable choice for mounting tasks around the home, office, or car. Whether you’re attaching heat sinks to ram chips or a Pi or installing batteries 300LSE tape gets the job done.

I put this between rub and plastic, it's strong and didn't loose so far.
