Several other knockoffs did not work or were cheaply made. This one came right out of a box and was wrapped in plastic with batteries ready to go.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have been using my Roku app for my tv , it was high time I get a remote . Price is right and connects in a jiffy. Of course hunny takes the new one and I get the older version he used. Lol

I couldn't be happier with this Roku Remote. It's sleek, and has all the features needed to make streaming a breeze. It connects seamlessly with the Roku TV. So glad this was an option after misplacing our other one when we moved.

My very old remote died for no reason, so I needed a new one. This one worked immediately with my Roku TV upon unboxing and removing the battery tab seal. Absolutely no other effort was required. It works better than my old remote and is much more responsive with all the buttons. The speed at which the remote responds is faster than my old one, and it's very light.

Almost returned mine as it wasn't working out of the box with my TCL Roku TV. Searched the internet for solutions but those didn't work. Used the Roku app on my phone to go to the Settings > Remote setup. Followed the on-screen directions. When the on-screen states to pick the recommendation (if no microphone, select below), don't pick this; it didn't work. Instead, pick the other option (microphone to the left) and then hold the buttons as instructed. Then I hit the power button on the new remote and the TV went off. Hit the power button again, it turned on, and tested all buttons for functionality. With this remote, you have to point at the remote receiver inside the TV (mine is dead center at the bottom). Would have been better if setup instructions were included and were accurate.
