I absolutely adore Safeguard soap! It gives me that ultimate, squeaky-clean feeling without ever drying out my skin – a huge win! The classic, fresh scent is fantastic, and it always leaves me feeling truly refreshed. For a reliable, effective, cleansing experience that doesn't dry you out and keeps skin feeling soft, Safeguard is simply unbeatable. I'll definitely keep purchasing!

I waited a few weeks to review this, because it’s not useful to write something the moment you open a bar of soap, it has to be used a while to know it it’s any good. I got this for the obvious use of cleaning up after sports or working out, but I ended up using it for my morning shower. I’ll tell why using it that way was not my first intent.WHAT IT ISThis is a so-called medicated soap, it’s supposed to work on the natural bacteria that cause odors, which makes it a logical choice for sports. When you play sports with bigger than average balls the strenuous activity results in inevitable friction, which results in something that goes by various names but all of them have to do with skin irritation and odors. A very thorough washing in the shower of those areas which will end up in a restricted piece of clothing cleans them so they don’t start to smell nasty.DOES IT WORKLike so many product what works for me may not work for you, there is only one way to know if you will like it and that is to try it. But at about seven bucks a bar that’s an expensive gamble. That’s where the good news comes in that makes this a higher rated product – it lasts a long time. That’s why I feel okay using it daily in my shower. A little know thing is that many bars of soap are pumped full of air, which means you get maybe a week’s use out of one bar. I’m confident this one will last at least a month each, and that takes a bit of the sting about paying that much.YES NO MAYBEI feel good about this purchase. I started with trying the two-pack but next time I will go for the case, once I like a brand I don’t like to switch. And I like this one.

I've always been a bit picky about my soap - it needs to get me clean without drying out my skin. Safeguard with Aloe has been a pleasant surprise!What I love:Gets the job done: It really does wash away germs, leaving me feeling fresh and protected.Kind to my skin: The aloe vera makes it gentle, even on my sometimes-sensitive skin. No tightness or dryness here.Soft and smooth: My skin feels noticeably softer and more hydrated after using this soap.Luxurious lather: A little goes a long way, and it creates a rich, creamy lather that lasts.Subtle scent: The scent is light and clean, not perfumey or overpowering at all.A few things to note:Price point: It's a touch pricier than some other soaps, but the quality is worth it for me.Not always easy to find: I've had to hunt for it a few times, but it's worth stocking up when I do find it.Overall:Safeguard with Aloe has become my go-to soap. Ex-Irish Spring man here. Can't take the smell anymore. Either they've amped up the amount of fragrance in Irish Spring tremendously in recent years or my nose never worked before. If I wanted to bathe in perfume, I would bathe in perfume, but I don't, so I switched to Dial a couple years ago and was happy with that, but tried this Safeguard bar for the lower price and like it even more. Nice clean smell without overdoing it. Doing some very dirty mechanical work recently and have had no difficulties washing off all the grease and deeply-embedded grime at the end of the day. May have found a new favorite soap, if they keep it reasonably priced.

I do like the simple scent it has like a plain ivory bar but it does leave your skin feeling dry that itchy feeling the bar is pretty small compared to a cheap 99cent bar of soap it’s the way its shaped after one shower it’s a lot flatter not gonna get much use out of it.

The quality of the soap is good, just a bit smaller than I expected. But nothing that wasn't advertised. Overall I'm happy, the pictures just make it look a bit bigger than it actually is.
