Wow I am in love with this serum! I find it's always hard to tell if things make a difference when it comes to wrinkles but this serum was so hydrating that I really felt a difference in the smoothness of my face. The scent was pretty neutral that I didn't notice much of a smell at all.

The Dare To Age revitalizing face serum by Dr. Brandt uses something they call the VITACELLREGEN Complex to promote skin renewal (I'm guessing cell turnover) which includes a special blend of oligo-peptide and embryonic stem cells that are sourced from Japanese Rose.This lovely glass bottle houses a thin, gel like serum that smells faintly of natural rose. It's a really lovely scent, and although I typically do not prefer fragrance in skincare products, this scent is not strong and doesn't linger very long. The star ingredients are micro-encapsulated in tiny gel dots that easily break down and absorb as you massage it into your skin.It feels and acts a bit like an oil as you apply it, but at the same time, is not runny. I do recommend starting by dispensing a small amount, as a little does go a long way. It gives my skin a lovely, non greasy glow after application.After using this for the past 5-6 nights + a couple daytime uses, I do find this serum to be fairly hydrating, and have noticed by morning that fine lines do look slightly improved. I think it will take more time to see any longer term effects, but I do think it has potential. I love how luxurious it feels.I'm 35F and would describe my skin type as combination. My skin can't really tolerate retinol products, so I'm always on the lookout for alternatives to help combat signs of aging. I find the formula and concept for this product original and intriguing.I also wanted to note that I didn't experience any sort of irritation from the serum. It's surprisingly gentle. I will probably keep using this for at least a couple weeks to see if there are any more noticeable improvements. I would need to wait until then to determine if the hefty price matches the performance of the product.

This is my first time trying a product from this brand. The serum arrived well packaged and was without leaks or damage. The bottle is 1fl oz in size and the product is dispensed via a dropper. The serum has a light floral fragrance. The texture is on the thicker side - this is a thick, not a watery serum. The serum is clear and it looks like it contains many many little "bubbles" inside - which looks cool and something I've not seen in other serums before. It dries well with a slightly sticky finish - and products layer well on top it. My skin looks "glassy"/healthy when I use it. Overall, this serum is effective and feels innovative. I experienced no breakouts or irritation from this product. As a side note though, I do not love the name. I know that it is meant to be the antithesis to the term "anti aging" but I've never had an issue with the term anti aging.

I've been using this Dr. Brandt Dare to Age Revitalizing Face Serum for a few weeks, and I have been enjoying it. It is a nice addition to my morning facial moisturizing routine, and has a pleasant light "clean" fragrance.The serum absorbs into my face nicely and causes no irritation. I think I can tell a slight decrease in the appearance of wrinkles, but who knows. If you're into this kind of stuff, I recommended this product.

I've always liked this brand, and I think it's worth the price-- this serum does have an odd texture, but it stands out from other serums with similar promises. A little goes a long way, and the bottle is noticeably larger then I've come to expect from this type of product so it feels like an especially good value. My skin takes well to it, the scent is nice and my skin always looks so dewy ad feels moisturized after using it. I think my forehead's texture has improved since using t.

Unfortunately this was too thick for my face I suppose. It broke out really bad after using this. I tried a few different times with the same results. I stopped using it. It doesn't have a smell at all. Felt great on my skin! It's nice, but not a match for me.

First off, this is super expensive. You do get a decent amount though compared to other expensive products with smaller bottles. The formula was nice and refreshing. The consistency felt good and spread easily on my face. It felt hydrating and my skin felt soft and supple. I really enjoy how this made my skin feel pampered, which I would expect from this brand. I definitely recommend if you want to splurge and pamper yourself with a nice firming serum. 5/5 stars.

This Dr. Brandt Dare to Age Revitalizing Face serum is clear and has a thin gritty gel-like consistency. I've since discovered that the "grit" is actually micropearls which contain the active ingredients and release them over time. It has a mildly sweet sort of floral smell which I think comes from the ingredients because I don't see any added fragrance. It is hydrating, and absorbs quickly without leaving any tacky residue.Unfortunately, the texture of this serum is seriously off-putting to me and I can't stand the way it feels during application. That's not to say this isn't a great serum. Dr. Brandt is a well respected brand that produces quality products. I just don't like this one.
