Was looking for an authentic glaze fired coffee cup and this is an absolutely gorgeous set with matching saucers that accent perfectly! The pattern is a beautiful swirl of 3d colors under the glaze.The size is perfect they are a bit heavy but to be expected with a pottery type glazed ware. Box indicates its lead free and all that stuff

The colorful and unique glaze on these cups is quite stunning and thick. It looks like it's practically dripping off the cup like candlewax.These are the perfect size for an espresso drink at home, instead of resorting to a full-size coffee mug. The weight and feel of these in the hand is quite nice and the finger loop is spaced just right.PICTURE: The first box I received arrived with chips in both cups. I could hear them clanking against each other before I even opened it. The whole insert is pre-formed styrofoam with a flimsy little piece that separates the two cups from one another. It separated loose, so they chipped in transit. The replacement took 2 weeks to arrive, but luckily they are intact, so overall I'm happy with the outcome.
