This is a beautiful chain. I bought the chain to put a 14K gold small locket on. I can't tell the difference between the gold color on the locket and the gold color on the chain. I had previously bought the white gold plated chain and could not get the fastener through the opening on my diamond cross. I checked whether or not I could get the fastener through my 14K gold locket before I bought the gold chain.

This is a beautiful chain. It looks expensive but it isn't, so that means I can order it in different lengths which is an absolute plus. Very happy with this purchase and I will be ordering another. The clasp is not going to work for you if you have a smaller item that you have to put on this chain. It also seems to be pretty strong so I don't expect it to break easily.

I have been wearing this necklace every single day for 7 months. Within the last month, it started giving me a rash. I am not sure if the plating wore off to reveal the material underneath, but I was very disappointed to see this happen. The color of the clasp has changed to a bronze so I wouldn't be surprised. I still rate this rather highly, because it has no problem staying on, very durable and a cute dainty little chain. I was just disappointed to see it tarnish over time.
