Setup was super easy—just plug it in, connect to WiFi, sync our Google and Outlook calendars, and everything shows up beautifully on the big, bright touchscreen.Some of my favorite features include the color-coded calendar view for each family member, which makes it easy to see who has what going on. The built-in chore charts, grocery lists, and to-do lists are actually being used by the kids, which is a game changer. I also love the weather view, customizable routines, and how clean the day, week, and month views look.The touchscreen is super responsive, and the calendar is clear enough to read from across the room. Whether you mount it on the wall or use the included stand, it looks modern and sleek. The mobile app makes updates from anywhere fast and simple.If I had to mention any drawbacks, it would be that it has to stay plugged in and connected to WiFi, and a few extra features like photo mode or Magic Import require a paid subscription. OBSESSED. This product is amazing. As a mom to 5 kids, we have multiple appointments, activities, work schedules, etc. Skylight allows me to compile all of our schedules (I even have them color coded!) in to one, central place. I run a business and it’s also nice having the calendar available for my staff to see! My kids are neurodivergent and greatly benefit from the task/routine element to the Skylight. I have everything from putting on fresh undies to chores like picking up dog poop! It helps keep our family on track. The photo slideshow element is also fun! When not being actively used, it looks like a digital picture frame with our chosen family photos.

Updated: This company is truly amazing. They went above and beyond in regards to the experience. Changing my review based upon the customer service. A true 5 star company.First of all the product is cool but let's face it, it's a digital calendar for the wall. The packaging is cool. The fact is that if your ok with having a digital calendar on the wall this is the product for you. We are fine with that. There's also a screensaver option for pictures but *drumroll* you have to pay a monthly subscription to use it. Adding another subscription is just ridiculous for such a simplistic product. For $300+ it seems like a huge money grab to also try and secure a subscription. We can afford it without a problem it's just not worth the continued price of $8 per month especially after we dropped so much money on it initially.

I bought this from a friend's recommendation even though I was hesitant - I'm familiar with Skylight products and there's always a basic level and a membership. I didn't want a monthly fee, and my friend assured me there wasn't one. That was false. Other that the calendar, everything else requires a subscription for access. I only needed the calendar so not a huge issue. The second issue i have was trying to figure out how to input categories - the user manual is very generic. Once I figured out how to do that, it's very easy and I'm satisfied with my purchase.

My boyfriend uses a paper calendar and refuses to text me appointments. I had been asking all year if we could get one of these to avoid double booking. He said no. I saw this on sale on Prime day and decided to take a leap of faith and order it. I set it up and asked him to try it (if he didn’t like it,I would return it.) Well, he likes it!!! It’s such a relief to have this when you’re dealing with challenging communication. Thank you!

I’m only giving it 4 stars because I had thought you could actually write on it with one of the touch screen pencils but alas you cannot. Everything has to be typed in which is a little frustrating when I want to add something real quick or write a quick note. That would be a great way to improve it, would be nice if it was compatible with my pencil plus calendar (which does let me write on it and it will change it to type if I choose or leave my handwriting, but that is just an app on my phone and iPad and I wanted a stand alone calendar for the family). Other than that I think it’s fantastic. With having a “pencil” as one of the accessories I thought it would be a little different, but I’m slowly getting used to it. A bit pricy for not having all the features I thought it did (I wouldn’t have gotten it if the sale hadn’t been so good)

Excellent (for the most part)
Offers everything you need from a calendar, even chore chats for the kids. A few issues but only minor really and probably personal preference. The app and overall functionality feels abit ‘clunky’. Putting items onto the calendar is not the easiest either on the calendar itself or via the app. The seamless app to base unit and vice versa is very quick. I also don’t like the way there is still a subscription service for certain aspects due to the already high price of the calendar.After all this however, it is a nice piece of kit, looks awesome hanging on the wall, easy to hang with very little effort. Updates do come but these could possibly be quicker and more frequent.

Sturdy design, looks sleek and love the functionality of it. I love that it automatically syncs the changes or additions from your phone. I have an iPhone and to add my iCal I needed to manually copy and paste the URL into the app after making the particular calendar “Public”. I’m sure that would make more sense if you had the item in front of you. It did not sync the way that was suggested in the app but the help centre suggested doing it the way that ended up working for me.We rely heavily on visual cues in our home so I am looking forward to less frustration from having an updated calendar literally in your face. You have the option of mounting it on a wall or on the frame.You can also make a shopping list or other lists that can be shared amongst the household. You can access the list on your phone through the app or on the device itself. Any additions or changes update on all synced devices. It has an option for meal prep and photo sharing at an extra cost. There is also a chores list but I’m not so sure how that will go in a practical sense because you either need to view the chores list or the calendar. It could be a huge hint for some people tho haha. There is an alarm function and you can change the text size etc.It needs wifi to work. It came with a selection of wall plugs which was good as I was concerned about a US based plug.The physical setup of the device was really easy with good instructions. Well worth every penny!
