Right out of the box, they were easy to install—no wiring required. I have been using it for a year with absolutely no problem. I mounted them along my concrete fence, and they instantly transformed my front yard into a cozy, inviting space. The brightness is good—and the 8 solid colors plus multiple lighting modes let me customize the ambiance depending on my mood or occasion.The dusk-to-dawn feature works flawlessly, turning on automatically as the sun sets and off when it rises, so I never have to worry about flipping any switches. On top of that, the battery life is good. Even after a long night, these lights are still glowing beautifully. It would stay on for several hours after sunset depending on the location and sunlight exposure. The media could not be loaded. These lights are amazing and have really upgraded the look of our backyard. We bought an 18 pack and used Gorilla Glue tape to install them on our brick wall fence in AZ this summer. Temps have been around 112° most afternoons and so far the tape has help these solar lights perfect. The sun charges them during the day, and then at night they come on automatically. We have them set to warm white but there is also cool white as well as some fun colors that we plan to utilize around Halloween and Christmas. I expected these lights to be more for show and not for function, however they do light up about 5 feet off the wall to create a nice illuminated glowing pathway around the yard. To hang these, there is a small mounting clip that you hang and then the light itself attaches to the clip. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would buy again!

This review is for the Brighter Solar Fence Lights Warm White & RGB 12 pack. I gave 4 stars because the lights are fine, I just don't like the way they light up the area. Certainly nothing at all like the seller's pictures. The first picture is of the lights taken with my phone as they are when you look at them. The 2nd picture is the enhanced version, which even enhanced is nothing at all like the seller's pictures. Their comparison of "ours" to "theirs" isn't what you see in the pictures I posted. The lights by no means illuminate the area like the "ours" picture portrays, as you can plainly see. Just based on that alone I wasn't going to keep them and returned them. They work fine, they just don't work as advertized in their pictures as far as the area they illuminate. They don't even light the ground or the plants under their beam of light. They were placed about 3 inches below the top of the 6 ft fence.

The lights do the job and mount easy enough but it would be helpful if there was a sheet in the box describing the various modes and how many clicks of the mode switch it took to set them. It saves standing in the dark trying to figure it out.

Amazing. I bought these to illuminate the area around my pool. I had done a lighting install like this on my previous house but used 12v landscape lights.For my new house there were issues routing the 12v lights due to fence style and HOA concerns.I’m extremely happy with the way these lights turned out. They’re not quite as bright as the 12v low-voltage wired lights I used previously, but they not far off. The battery remains charged enough to keep the lights on all night. They automatically turn on and off when the sun sets/rises.Would definitely recommend these to anyone trying to provide some low-level illumination or landscape lights.

I pre-drilled the holes on the fence posts before screwed the plastic backing plates. A few screws broke when I put them on the posts. I then used some other screws that I have in storage. Guess the posts were too hard. The LED lights were easy to hang onto the plates.There are different lighting modes as per description. I used the LED lights to light up or highlight the fence only, so I selected the white light mode. The lights cannot compare to those soffit lightings installed on my neighbour's house. But the LED lights are good enough so that I can see the fence and about 1-1.5 m in front of the fence. As I have sunlight the whole day, so the LED light can last for the whole night from evening to morning before the sun rises.
Larger sized with wide coverage of light

These larger sized solar lights can be installed anywhere; we choose to install on both sides of an arbour that's the entrance to our yard from the driveway, so that we'd have light when coming/leaving after dark. These cast a lot of light downward that automatically turn on at low brightness level once night falls, and they which stay on all-night unless the battery runs out and when motion is detected, the light level goes brighter. There's 3 temperature hues to choose from: warm, cool and natural light. A mounting bracket, screws and instructions are included. I put it in a place that gets full sun for most of the day and right now it's June, so it is always fully powered by evening and stays on until dawn, no problem. I do not know what these will be like in winter, but the manual states the light will automatically reduce brightness level to conserve battery power; which helped when we had a few rainy/gloomy weather for a few days. I really like the directional light which really fans out by the time the light hits the ground, and I like that I can choose my preferred hue of white. These are a fair price for the size of the light, wide field of light and ease of install and they can be mounted just about anywhere light is needed at night; fencing, arbours, posts, sheds, enterance doors etc. We're glad to have them, and recommend if you want simple hands-off all-night lighting with motion sensor brightness with the tone of white YOU prefer!
Lovely lights & Easy install
When we ordered our first set of lights we were a bit skeptical of how well they would work. We were very pleasantly surprised. They were easy to install. We put them up to accent various displays in our yard, for example, art work hung on the fence, flowers in the garden and in pots, various wrought iron displays. We really like the transition from one color to the next and how the light changes the flower color and display colors. We are so happy with them we purchased 3 more sets!!
Fantastic lights
We just set up a pool for the summer and would love to do some night time swimming. However it is fairly dark near the pool deck.These solar lights were placed on either side of the deck in hope that they would provide enough light to enjoy the pool in the evening.They absolutely exceeded our expectations. The light can be adjusted so we had no trouble finding the best level for our needs. The solar power is a huge bonus and does charge well during the day so there is always light when its dark out. Easy enough to install on the posts.I would recommend these solar lights for anyone wanting to add light along a fence or near a gate or garage without having to keep electrical light switches on.
