I read a bunch of reviews before I bought this about it not fitting the Gotrax G2. Honestly the only option I could easily find so I just had to take a chance. This the $200 scooter my kids ride around the neighborhood, bought it from Walmart a couple years ago. Took the entire wheel off by removing the covers and loosening the nuts. With some flathead screw drivers I worked the tire off the rim. Wasn’t too hard but I’ve fixed a lot of flats on my kids bikes so I’m sort of an expert 😂. Then used windex and sprayed the new tire to help lubricate and after working it back on the rim, attached it back to the scooter and took for a test drive. I would NOT unscrew the motor screws on the rim as they are held with blue loctite and not meant for you to unscrew.New tire Works like a champ. the old tire was in horrible condition. for clarification there is no inner tube and zero air needed.
